Transfer VHS to DVD I needed a new low priced vhs player to transfer my VHS tapes to DVD. This has just the functions needed (no tuner). I use this with the Magnavox Z320MW8 Refurbished DVD recorder. All works fine so far. 02/28/2012
Quality of playback The quality of the playback is awful. It is the hardest piece of electronic equipment that I have ever owned to use. It requires getting out the book every time, not to mention multiple remote controls. Then I just usually say "forget it"......... 10/09/2011

Excellent product at great price! I can use my old VHS tapes, and play my DVDs also. I LIKE the versatility of being able to record to DVDs, or VHS tapes. Easy to use. I also own the older model whose VCR started malfunctioning after several years. Cheaper to buy the new model instead of repairing. 10/09/2011
