No features-lack of description should have.... Surround sound does not work. Speakers will only work on blu-ray or Instant Queue NetFlix (yes that means only 75 movies at most), or if you want to pay for each time you use the Vudu service....Save yourself the time.... Just grab a Roku and a non-internet ready blu-ray player. It will be cheaper, you will truly have an internet ready device, and you will have avoided the frustration that I am sure many will encounter when they attempt to set this device up and find that it is practically useless, and not a good value for the money. 11/25/2011
1000watts for $178.00, I though was a great deal.. I love music and the most important feature will be sound for me.Well, 1000 watts,Blueray, n WiFi.This a great deal!......not really,not to me.-The first bad thing, in the Audio-menu there is no option for Treble,Bass,etc. So you are stuck with the preset-sounds(rock-jass,classical,live,sports,etc.).-The subwoofer,cmon! Its really small, looks like a SUB for a laptop.The speaker its probably a "6 or "7 , it should be at least "10 Subwoofer for 1000W system. A soon as I tried to turn the volume up with my bassie-music, not even half way and it started to sound like it was going to break.( no bass at all)-And the most important. The "Fidelity" of the the sound on all speakers is not good. It is loud, but the louder it is,the worst it sounds(from BD,CD,TV, or anything that produce sound true the system).I know this not a BOSS system, but it is new, I expected more. My dieying 7 yearold 600W/Audiovox system sounds much "better"(fidelity, loud n clear) than this think.Well if you are like me, and sound is very important to you. This system does not make it. Im going to keep it for few days to take advantage of the free movie-trials, after that will be returned.The picture is AWESOME, i do love that, but I guess any BlueRay will do that. 11/30/2011
better systems out there for this price I ordered this online on black friday. When it came I set it up after being on the phone with customer service 3 times in one night it was determined that the blue ray player did not work for some reason they said the hdmi port might be bad. But I tested on another tv and it worked fine. Pretty shaky system only 3 speakers work when watching regular tv. I took it back the next day after it arrived. Waited all that time for a bad system 12/05/2011
BROKE AFTER 1 DAY!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$$ Bought this on Black Friday, worked great for one day and the next day the audio output did not work on the speakers. Called the Phillips Corporation on Monday & after they determined that it did not & would not work, the associate suggested I return it to Walmart because if I had it replaced thru Phillips I would be receiving a refurbished product. Highly disappointed, wishing I hadn't wasted my Black Friday $$'s on a product that was garbage. But if you want a home theatre with absolutley no surround sound or sound for that matter, then this is what you want. Netflix streaming & Vudu did work, but on the Netflix the only thing you could see was what is in your Netflix que, no othet option was available unlike other machines. I would give this ZERO STARS but there is not an option on here for that. 11/29/2011
