Ambisound provides full no-fuss multichannel surround sound, and Smart Surround optimizes surround settings automatically. It plays DVDs in nearly HD quality at 720p, 1080p or 1080i when you connect it to an HDTV through the HDMI port. Faroudja DCDi provides incredibly sharp video, as well. You can even connect your iPod for audio and video playback. There's also USB Direct to play photos and music from USB flash drives and an MP3 line-input for music playback from portable media players. AM and FM are built in, too. Wireless remote control included.

    meets our expectations We found this product to meet our expectations for a home theatre system suitable for our bedroom. My hubby and I didn't like the idea of have speaker wire all over the place and placing small speakers throughout the room so we opted for this soundbar. It is super sleek and modern looking. We love how the DVD player is integrated with it. The sound quality is outstanding! 05/01/2009
    Sounds better that expected I purchased this product because I wanted to have all of the components ie. cable box receiver etc. in a closet out of sight, and there wasn't a way to achive this in a DVD/ Surround system without running an IR transmitter eye ( They have been a headache in the past ). Also you don't have to go into the closet to change DVD's. The price was right, $500 @ Walmart, at least $100-$200 less than anywhere else. Sound quality is excellent. Friends can't tell it's "simulated surround". Unless they try and find the speakers behind them. Video quality is great also. I hope the pic shows up. The install was easy and looks great mounted under a 50" plasma and the sub is to the right of the Pellet Stove. The only Cons are 1) Needs a "Blueray" option. 2) The cord from the Sub to the Sound Bar doesn't disconnect at the Sub. Our family has been movie freaks since install. 01/19/2009
    Happy with it I haven't used all the features yet. I wanted something to use with the tv that had good tone quality, not something that would blast me and this does that although I had to turn the subwoofer down. I also didn't want lots of wires all over the room; again, this is easy to hook up with just a couple of cables. The manual isn't really clear about how to get the tv sound to transfer to the sound bar; my brother-in-law had to show me that the audio on the tv menu had to be turned off. Delivery was quick. 09/18/2009
    The soundbar is a great addition to our new flat-screen TV. Dvds sound great. When we play music cds on it however, the sound quality isn't as good. We don't get the nice bass we did on our old stereo (even when you increase the bass volume on the remote). That is the only drawback. 09/03/2009
