[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. These glass bottles are excellent! I have a mostly breastfed baby who took to these bottles easily. The nipples have a wide base that's meant to mimic the breast, so the latch seems natural. The biggest perk is the  bottles are easy to clean because they have a nice wide opening and not a lot of parts. They're durable and seem like they last. They're definitely a healthier choice than plastic and won't absorb an odor and discolor like plastic can over time. Just be sure to be mindful when screwing the top on. Get it on straight and tight or the bottle will leak.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We breastfeed and formula feed our 4 month old about 50/50 so it is very important to us to not be disruptive to our breastfeeding journey. This bottle made us full believers and we will be transitioning our baby to these full on! We were previously using another leading silicon bottle but love the glass bottles for the following reasons:
Cleanliness- they are clear so no questions if they are clean. 
Smell- no lingering smell with the glass.
Nipple- very similar to a natural nipple. Our baby loves it and it actually increased milk consumption by about an ounce.
Overall I recommend giving these a try.

Phillips Avent Glass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a 2 month old and I'm blessed to mostly be a stay at home mom however, every now and again I've got to go in to work and our baby girl literally would not take any bottles… (I breastfeed but also pump, as I have a large supply) we tried 5 types of bottles and none would fly. I received my box of this four pack Philips Avent to try this week and as soon as the package came I washed and sanitized a bottle. I eagerly but also apprehensively place some expressed milk in the bottle, and right away the nipple was not like any bottle nipple I have tried for her! It's wide and kind of a soft texture to it, kind of….frosted, if you will. I'm not sure why, but I kid you not, she took the whole bottle! I couldn't believe it, I had my husband try the next day and sure as sugar! She still wanted the whole bottle! The glass has very comfortable grooves on either side that makes holding it a breeze. The glass is very durable and cleans so easy. It's fast to put together, 3 pieces (4 if you count the lid) but they go together quickly. It also heats my milk up evenly. This is my first product I've received for free thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel in return for my honest feedback. This bottle literally could not have come at a better time! I almost cried when she drank from it the first time. I'm so thankful for it!

I almost cried

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The durability of these glass bottles is more than enough of a win for me. I previously used plastic, or bottles with a silicone insert but these are incredibly easy to clean, there is no smell if you forget to rinse it right away, and they're dishwasher safe which is an added bonus for a busy mom on the go. The bottle nipple did work for my baby. She is 11 weeks old and usually EBF. I like that the bottles come with the second 0m+ nipples. I would've loved to try the smaller flow too to see how she handled it. Because i tend to have a faster let down, I think these didn't bother her. 

The bottles are easy to clean (4 parts isn't so bad and is pretty standard for bottles nowadays), and the nipples were easy to clean as well. My daughter took to these bottles fairly quickly for never having a bottle before but having my husband give it to her helped. I had a feeling because she's only been breastfed, that she wouldn't take the bottle easily from me. The actual bottle itself is beautiful. I love that it has UK & US oz measurements as well as ml/cc which is helpful when babies are brand new. I color of the print is subtle which i also like. 

All in all I highly recommend these bottles. We used the original anti-colic plastic version with my son (as he was formula fed 2+ years ago) and these bottles were our go-to. The Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me these bottles and I'm so glad they did. We knew we would eventually need bottles for my daughter (if I ever wanted to spend a few hours alone again...ha!) and they arrived at the perfect time.

Glass for the win

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this baby bottle set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It included four 4-ounce glass Philips Avent Natural Bottles with Natural Response Nipples. I was happy to receive these as my family recently started making the change to plastic-free. I have been reading about micro-plastics leaching into breastmilk when plastic bottles are heated, so when the opportunity to test some new glass bottles from Philips Avent came up, I was more than happy to.

Our newborn has been struggling to latch during the first month and a half of his life, so we were hopeful the natural response nipple from Philips Avent would teach him a better latch on the breast. We have been able to nurse more without pain since adding the natural response nipples, so I am VERY glad we started using them. These bottles and nipples put his lips into the right position and push his mouth open, which has resulted in a much less painful latch for me. They really do emulate the mother's breast, and make it easy to switch back and forth from bottle to breast. I will also add that we did slow feeds before we had these bottles and nipples, in order to slow the flow of the milk (in hopes of nursing). Making the switch has allowed our newborn to control the pace of the feed, so we again have a more natural feed when not on the breast.

The bottles themselves have been great. I have an oversupply, and whatever I don't freeze I leave in the refrigerator so my partner can help with the midnight feeds. Keeping the glass bottles in the fridge makes me feel better about warming them - we run them under hot water so it's good to know we aren't adding micro-plastics to the breast milk. There is also no fear of shattering or breaking due to temperature change for us, which is nice. We have not had any problems there. They are very high quality - they've survived a few drops from exhausted parents so far with no damage. Another nice thing (though I don't do it too often as they are heavy) is the ease of pumping directly into the glass bottles with my breast pump. The flanges fit perfectly on all avent bottles. 

Regarding assembly, the nipples are very easy to pop into the screw ring and take apart for cleaning. The screw ring screws easily onto the glass bottles as well. The bottle caps are also easy to use - we use them when we travel so nothing touches the nipple.

Overall, I highly recommend these bottles and nipples to anyone planning to combine nursing and bottle feeding. They are great for feeding your baby breast milk, and I imagine anyone also using formula would  in combination with nursing would benefit from their use. They have not only made sharing feeds more easy, but they have also helped to improve our breastfeeding journey. These are the best, and there are quite a few other products from Philips Avent that will enhance the experience with these products as well.

Excellent Bottles for Breast And Bottle Feeding

I had been looking for a good Eco-friendly bottle, but sadly many so-called 'BPA-free' bottles are plastics filled with other (sometimes worse) chemicals that can leach into milk. These bottles made of very sturdy pharmaceutical grade glass are not bulky nor heavy and they have a good easy-to-hold ergonomic form. The fact that all the parts are quite easy to clean is also a big plus. They fit easily with both the electric and manual versions of the Avent Natural/Comfort pumps. The fact that they are made of high quality glass puts my mind at ease-- that my baby is not being exposed to nasty hormone-disrupting chemicals.

Best way to be BPA free

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this baby bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I already use some Avent bottles so my baby took well to the Philips Avent Glass Natural Baby Bottles, however, my baby did not like the Natural Response Nipples. My baby struggled to pull milk from the nipple even when I switched to the faster flow nipple that was provided to my from Stellar Testing Panel. This is likely my baby's preference that baby likes a more “leaky” nipple rather than the leak-proof natural response nipple. But otherwise, my baby seemed to like the nipple. Baby latched well on the wide nipple like Baby would while nursing at the breast.

As far as the bottle itself, I love the glass bottles. It feels safer and I don't have to worry about plastic leeching into the milk. I feel more comfortable warming the bottles and it is nice that they are okay to go from the fridge straight into my bottle warmer without damage. I can also sterilize as needed without worrying about whether the bottle will melt because it's glass! The glass bottle is good quality and is very sturdy. The only thing that concerns me about using glass bottles is that in my sleep deprived state at night time feedings, I worry I might drop and break a bottle. Hasn't happened yet, but just a thought I have.

The bottles are easy to assemble and easy to clean. My only beef I have with the Avent bottles is the cap. The caps are poorly designed and are a pain in the butt to take off. Definitely cannot take the cap of the bottle with baby in your arms and extremely frustrating when you have a screaming, hungry baby and all you want to do it break the cap in a hurry to feed the baby. If I were R&D at Avent, I would redesign the bottle caps to be easily removed.

Great bottle but pass on the natural response nips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received my Philips Avent Glass Natural Baby Bottle With Natural Response Nipple from the Stellar Product Test Panel, I thought “a glass bottle?! What if it slips out of my hand while I'm feeding my baby, and it hits him in the face” or “what if I drop it on the floor?” So, of course, I had to test that... the dropping it on the floor part not the other part. 
For my drop test, I put loose tile in a cardboard box and set the box on concrete (if the tile was properly set to a floor, the sturdiness of the tile would obviously be different, but I wasn't going to do that to my floor). I used two different bottles throughout the experiment (so I could be sure that the glass hadn't been compromised before dropping it on concrete). I filled the glasses to 3 oz, and started dropping. 

Dropped from 1 foot: glass did not break, but the tile did

Dropped from 2 feet: glass did not break, but the tile did

Dropped from 7 feet: glass did not break, but the tile did

Thrown at tile: glass did not break, but the tile did

Dropped directly on concrete from 5 feet : bottle shattered

Needless to say, I was quite impressed with that result! Aside from the drop test, I liked how easy these bottles made it to heat up the milk in warm water. My baby seemed to take this bottle very easily, and I really like the natural feel of the nipple. I found there to be a little bit of leakage at first, but then I was told to give everything a quick run under water before putting together and it works perfectly every time!

Easy To Use Hard To Break

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, at first glance these bottles are beautiful. 
They are a comfortable to hold design with an absolutely no spill nipple! They don't leak, at all! 
I use Philips Avent bottles so when I was offered a new version of them I couldn't say no! That being said, they are very heavy and I wouldn't suggest allowing baby to hold them on their own. The design of the nipple is amazing, no spill, I can turn it upside down and shake it and no drips come out, which sounds awesome, until trying to test the temperature of the milk...you just have to open it instead. The flow rate is a 2 so it's a level 2, usually my baby would have no issues with this flow unfortunately I found that he had to work much harder to get his milk out of this nipple... possibly something to do with the no drip design? But that can also be good, I found he ate a bit slower thanks to this, and burped better!
All in all these are a good set for this mom, after a couple uses baby got used to them and wasn't as frustrated by eating slower. 
If you have a baby who chugs milk and gets gas bubbles stuck or colicky often these are a total win.
