Awesome HD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a 50 inch Hitachi Projection tv for about 14 years. It was the best TV I have ever owned untill now. It finally quit on me. I did all the research and comparison shoping and ended up buying the 47in Phillips 1080p HD. Hands down the best purchase!! I bought the tv because the hype and reviews were all extremly positive and the price at walmart was only $1048. Well I am here to say eveybody was right this is the best tv out there! Sound is 8 out of 10 but the picture is a 10+. Once I hooked up the HD Dish and Reciver from Dish Network I was and am continued to be absolutly floored by the picture quality it is almost 3D!!!! I have watched 2 movied in HD on this TV that I have seen before but it was like watching them for the first time the detail, richness and depth are off the scale! I would highly recommend this TV. 10/12/2009
Phillips 47" The TV worked fine for 4 mo's then it took 3 weeks for the repair(no picture). Approx 2 weeks later the colors went haywire. It has been 3 weeks now and I still don't have the use of it. Phillips won't accept responsibilty and it appears the assigned repair shop is very slow. 05/27/2010
Awesome Bought this exact TV back in April when the store carried them and doesn't matter what you watch or if your playing action games on x-box 360. The TV is outstanding, picture awesome, sound incredible. I just bought another one last week for my theater/game room. Bought online this time and also $200 from last time. Walmart Philips 47" 1080p Full HD LCD HDTV Bought this TV after selling a 56" Samsung DPL TV.Very easy to srtup. Bought a cheap HBMI cableon line from Amazon, bad choice........... TV worked better with AV1 cords. Bought 2 year service plan......... We have not found anything bad/wrong since we bought it on 04-24-2010..... I would recommend it to everybody.
