Philips 19" Class 720p 60Hz LCD TV, 19PFL3504D/F7 4 5 37 42
In My Honest Opinion I live in the high desert of Arizona, so reception even off of translators can be rough going. All our networks are either in Phoenix or Las Vegas. Now on to the TV. Reception is fair to very good with rabbit ears/HDTV ears. With a connection to a master antenna, which is how I'm set up, all channels are crystal clear.I set up with the wizard all my preferences in picture, and didnt need to retweak on each channel at all..The set has a audio equalizer, so I set that too, to my preferences.I need a little more highs to my ears, and I bumped up the midrange, that was it..Sound quality is good enough for me. I don't blast it. I have a nice stereo for that..I think its got good bang for the buck ratio, and Walmart just did a rollback on it. So , for 200 clams it's not too shabby. I think some of the other reviewers were just a tad bit too critical..Hey, in TV's, I like Philips and Sony..But who can afford that Sony price. Soooo, I went with Philips, very satisfied... 12/07/2009
Bought and returned within hours I bought this and returned it within an hour of setting it up. In the store it looked beautiful, the color, the clarity, etc. When I took it home and set it up for home use instead of retail use it was terrible. When I first turned it on there was a series of comparison screens to set the color so I was thrilled thinking I wouldn't have to mess with settings. HA I didn't know I'd be adjusting every channel. I had to adjust the color for each channel I was watching. People were either bright red or bright green or to dark to see even though I just set it up for the previous channel. Also the panel around the screen is so shiny it reflected everything and made seeing the screen from any angle except directly in front of it nearly impossible. I returned it and went with another brand. 08/27/2009
Great TV for the money Simply, the best TV I have found for under $200, great picture, features, good sound, lacks a bit of bass. Off the air in a rural area with the Phillips antenna, I get all the local channels. When I buy a bigger TV, it will be a Phillips too. 09/30/2009
the menu is hard to read unless you stand close to the tv screen, the picture quality is bad unless you look directly at the screen and the picture adjustments don`t seem to have any affect 07/15/2009
