This dinnerware set is beautiful and is a good value; however, it arrived in a box not meant for shelf sales. It came in a plain unmarked and poorly sealed cardboard box. Perhaps the store typically uses these packages for their "open stock" items? At any rate, this was not mentioned in the online description, and as it was meant to be a gift, it made an absolutely unforgivable first impression. If it's a gift your looking for think twice, if only for the packaging. You don't want to have to "explain" the horrible package it arrives in and have it be a tell-tale sign that you got a good deal. 12/18/2012

The reason I gave a fair rating was because the packaging was terrible. You could not give this item as a gift. The purchase was for myself so it didn't matter. I would absolutely order in this manner again. 01/20/2013
