Rated 1 out of 5★ by gmaj15 Poorly made~ When I ordered this dog bed I thought it was adorable....however it only lasted a couple of months before it fell apart. My dog is a Blue Merle Collie; she is old and gentle so the bed was not treated roughly in any way. It probably wouldn't last a week if the dog were the least bit rowdy! Very disappointed and NOT worth the money spent! 10/14/2010
Rated 5 out of 5★ by OftenOnlineShopping An EXCELLENT bed for your dog !!! I honestly don't know what the other reviewer was so upset about this being a poorly made dog bed...??? I have 2 dogs, a Black Lab and a Shepard Mix and they BOTH lay on the bed, not together at the same time, but they both use it and I find that not only does this dog bed have a cute pattern, it is a very well made dog bed. The "filling" does not get matted down by the dogs weight and it is a great bed especially for such a great price. I am about to purchase a 2nd one, the same one because my very first dog bed I have that I purchased from another company has pretty much had it BUT it did last over 10+ years.I have had this dog bed for a little over 3 years and it is still in great shape, both my dogs love to lay on it, especially in the winter because I have it right in front of my fireplace and whichever dog is laying on it, it makes for a GREAT photo. This 2nd bed I am going to purchase will go in my bedroom where the bed I am getting rid of was at. My dogs lay on the bed in my bedroom also because sometimes, not that often, but sometimes I win the fight over the covers and then one of my dogs goes to lay on the dog bed on the floor.I have a full size bed and with both my dogs sleeping on it with me, well they are both cover hogs and they leave me all of about 2 inches of mattress for me to sleep on and I would not change anything. Some people think dogs ( pets) being on the bed or furniture is just wrong, but they don't do any damage to the bed or couches, except for their dog hair getting on the bed and furniture but I brush them regularly and I also vaccum the couches IF they have been on them, and I have them bathed every few months and I also place an old blanket on top of my comforter to keep their dog hair off my comforter except in the summers because when I take them to the "Pretty Puppy Parlor " to get groomed, I get them both shaved and then there is very little hair left n them to go on the blanket on top of my comforter or in piles on my hardwod floors and that is why I keep them brushed during the colder months because I let their hair grow back to it's normal length after it being shaved twice during the late spring and summer months.ANYWAY getting back to the bed, this is a GREAT bed, especially for the price, and if you really want it to keep it's shape, just turn it over every 2 weeks and also wash the cover once in a while.I hope whoever is reading this will help them to decide to purchase this bed because it really is a great bed for the dogs and it is also the PERFECT size for my 2 dogs. My Black Lab weighs just under 100 lbs and my Shepard Mix weighs about 55 pounds and when they are laying on it both of them fit on the bed. Thanks for taking the time to read this and Happy Shopping !!!RickyMedinah, IL 07/26/2012
