Not Airline approved!!! I bought this to ship my cat to my brother while I study abroad, and I was told that this kennel DOES NOT meet airline standards due to the clasps that hold the roof to the base. I was told that in order to make it airline friendly, I actually had to drill screws where they conjoin so the lid wouldn't come off. Yes, this is a fine kennel otherwise (for transport to, say, the vet), but it is falsely advertised.Additionally, do not purchase this if your cat/dog will not have 2+ inches of head clearance, even if he/she meets the weight range for this kennel. I had to return this and purchase a larger one with better clasps to resolve this issue, probably at an actual pet store. 07/28/2011
I bought this cage about two weeks ago and my Dachshund has already broke out of it. The cage is poorly built. The plastic clips broke after two weeks and wont snap back on. 07/29/2011
decent carrier for the price Bit of a pain to put together. Mostly have to make sure that the edges are lined up just right or you will get very frustrated! Plenty of room for our cat to hang out in it with room to spare when we go on trips. 04/29/2012
