Very Helpful This product is very helpful! I have a large dog and a cat so it comes in handy and I must disagree with the other review saying that the water gets gunky and nasty. If you pets drink a lot of water the water stays perfectly fresh. It is so much easier to fill this up once a week than a regular water bowl once or twice a day. Just make sure you're strong enough to carry the jug when it's filled up! 03/30/2010
Big time saver Have been using one of these for over a year, have several cats, and yea the water does get dirty over time. stuff gets in the water over time. simple remedy, clean the bowel peroidically, no big deal. works very well, has lasted at least 15 monthes in our carport, east tennesse, cold winters, hot summers. looking at getting a second one for other pets. only have to fill it every couple of days instead of fillng bowls a couple of times a day 12/11/2011
I had one for 18 months, before it was accidently dropped and cracked. I have two dogs over 100 lbs. and a small one at 18, it serves our purpose well since we have to refill it once a day. If you have smaller animals, then consider purchasing a smaller waterer and you won't have the nasty water problem.For the price, I believe it is a great deal and fully serves my family and pets purpose. 03/06/2012
Highly recommend! This is the second one I've purchased. The last one lasted several years and was only replaced because it was dropped when full of water and busted. I have a great dane and a smaller mixed breed and it works great for them. As far as the person with the cat that complained about the water becoming yucky with this item, the smaller one would be more suitable. 05/02/2012
