    How it Works

PetArmor works the same way as Frontline Top Spot, providing full-body protection to help keep your pets flea and tick free. And they stay gone for 30 days. It's that simple. PetArmor contains fipronil, so it kills fleas and ticks on your pet. Even new fleas that hatch later will be killed when they jump on your pet. PetArmor is just as safe and effective as Frontline Top Spot.

What can I expect after treatment?

After treatment with PetArmor, fleas and ticks get very active as they die and move to the top of the pet's coat where they are more visible. This is a sign that the product is working. If you see fleas several days or weeks after applying PetArmor, you may have an infestation in your yard or elsewhere. Remember to treat all pets in your house with PetArmor every 30 days throughout the year to help protect your pets from fleas and ticks.

    Prevention is the best medicine

As with most things in life, prevention is much easier and less expensive than treating an existing problem. Even a few fleas can spread throughout your home and be difficult to overcome. Using PetArmor medication every 30 days will protect your pet.

We've been using this on our German Shepherd mix (90 lbs) for a year now, and not a tick or flea on her! My neighbor's and parent's dogs have had problems but this did the job. Now we're all using it. It works great, and it seems to keep the mosquitoes away from her too, which is great around here where heartworms are a real problem.

I love how this product works for my rottweilers and lab, and the price is right especially when you have multiple dogs that you need to treat every month here in the south. I always either apply 2 days before a bath or 2 days after a bath. This ensures that the natural skin oils protect the dog's skin from stinging - Frontline also stings if applied too close to a bath. Product arrived quickly and well packaged. Thank you!

I use to use Frontline but because of the cost I decided to give PetArmour a try. I didn't start to use it till I found a few fleas on one of my small indoor/outdoor dogs but after one application the fleas were all gone and I haven't seen anymore. I have 4 small indoor/outdoor dogs (I do split a Large dose betweenall four) and this is the third month. Great for the price ordering more now.

I own Highland Meadows Mastiffs and I raise AKC English Mastiff puppies. I have used this product for many years on dogs, puppies, cats and kittens and it works wonderfully. I never have a problem with this product causing irritation at the application site, it works quickly, it is effective and has had no adverse effects on any of my pets. I feel comfortable using it during the pregnancy and nursing phase with my Mama dogs too & my Vet says it's ok to use it. When this product first came out I took the package insert from my Frontline product into the store and actually compared the ingredients & they are exactly the same for a fraction of the price. I like this product and I recommend it to others frequently.

    • A. if you know the dosage and get the right stuff you can but you have to be careful to check ingredients. dog flea topicals often have permethrin that is poisonous to cats. Fipronil and methoprene are in frontline plus while the regular pet armor has just fipronil. the dose for a cat is point five ml (.5). You'd have to get the big dog size and put in little bottle and use a small syringe to measure it out. Shelters often do this as you can treat like 8 cats with one 4 ml dog dose of f/l

    • A. Do NOT use PetArmor for Dogs on your cat. Only use PetArmor for Cats – it’s a package with a picture of a cat on the front and the box states “only use on cats and kittens.” Keep cats away from treated dogs for 24 hours. If applied to a cat or ingested by a cat, contact your veterinarian. Please read and follow the label instructions carefully.

    • A. Yes you can. Your cat will get .5 of the dosage. One tube of large dog pet armor will treat 8 cats.

    • A. PetArmor is equally effective at killing adult fleas and ticks as Frontline Top Spot. Both contain fipronil, the No.1 vet-recommended active ingredient for flea and tick protection. The PetArmor family of products has the same active ingredients at the same concentrations to the corresponding Frontline products. The inactive ingredients of both brands include solvents, carriers, and preservatives as part of their formulation. The inactive ingredients in PetArmor come from high-quality sources and are all commonly available materials that meet compendia and/or industry standards.

    • A. Frontline Top Spot & PetArmor both contain the same active ingredient of Fipronil 9.7% Frontline Plus contains: Fipronil 9.8% (S)-methoprene 8.8% The inert and inactive ingredients are not listed, and really do not matter.
