Rated 2 out of 5 by MSNPZL Not really soft The steps are really not as described. The cover looks like an old bathmat (worn bathmat) and it is the only thing that is soft. The steps are hard plastic.The rise is gentle and good for aging animal, but I was very disappointed in the quality of the cover and the fact that the steps are really very hard.I think it is vastly over priced.I would only recommend this to a friend with a caveat and if his/her animal really needed steps. 09/29/2011
