PERECT! We have a 9mo old Dachshund that was very picky on going outside to do her business. We could not hear her scratch at the glass slider from the other room, and many times she would simply sit by the door without attempting to scratch--- all resulting in either a) potty by the door or b) getting stubborn and walking off in the house and 'oops' urinating other places b/c she was now too far from the door. We have tried other products for training all of which ended up in the drawer -- we tried this product hoping/praying it would be different but knowing we may end up returning due to our pup "not getting it" or being stubborn. NOT THE CASE. Within literally 3 days our pup was using the doorbell 9 out of 10 times. I would highly recommend this product - and hey return it if it does not work for you - where can it go wrong. 01/26/2010

Don't like it I have four dogs and none of them took to this thing. But it does work, it's sooo sensitive that the noise sounds when you just walk by it. I just couldn't get my dogs to step on the pad. Probably me and my dogs, but I would not recommend it. 01/05/2010
pet chime The pad is small and my dog is having trouble using it. He is 10 and was trained with a much larger pad.On several occasions the chime has started ringing on its own and only stops when I remove the batteries.Never had this problem with my old device. 01/04/2010
