The width of the band of the ring varies between the silver and gold option. While the band width of the sterling silver message ring is 5mm, the gold bandwidth is 4mm.

WOW. I really loved this ring. I bought it for my boyfriend on Valentines Day and he loved it too! I did not like how easy it scratched though, and even when it was mailed to me it had scratches on it. The engraving was beautiful though it was a little small. If you want a durable ring, I don't suggest this one, but if it's only temporary then go ahead! 11/21/2009
CHEAP LOOKING I know that with money tight these days you want to get something that is inexpensive but still look good. This ring is so cheap looking it looks like you found it out of a cracker jack box! if you were to give this to your boyfriend or girlfriend you would honestly look like a fool. Maybe he or she doesnt tell you to your face that they dont like it but believe me he or she would be embarrsed to wear this p.o.s ring. I did a very nice ring on here that is tungsten and its also engravable and it was like 79 bucks it holds up so well and looks expensive. My husband is proud to wear it. Love this ring! If you are looking for a very practical, but attractive plain wedding band, this is your ring. The engraving is a wonderful touch, even if you aren't a newlywed. Smooth edges and not too wide for a woman's ring finger. Great value for the price! 04/21/2009
