I also had the problem of the new house having the fixture for the shower WAY up high, and I'm pretty short, so I was looking for a shower head that could be adjusted lower.I picked this up because it fit the bill in adjusting the shower shorter, plus it was cheap. It took my brother about 5 minutes to install, if that. It doesn't leak. The shower head itself feels like a higher quality hotel shower head. And best of all, it is super adjustable. It lowers the shower about a foot for me, plus the head is adjustable so it can spray at any angle. LOVE LOVE LOVE this.I haven't had it for very long so I can't attest to quality over time, but I've never had a problem with the Peerless brand and this shower head is just wonderful for right now. 09/21/2012

We just recently moved and my fiance forgot to grab this shower head so I had to go directly out and buy another. its perfect because if you have a shower where the shower head sits kind of low, this shower head allows you to make it taller and the the rain showerhead feels amazing. 09/01/2012
