Great Product

I bought this sand in the store. I LOVE IT!!! It's cheap and just what I wanted. I wish the bags were bigger. I use it to make my own potting soil for container gardening my melons, peppers, etc. I LOVE that's is wet and it helps hydrates my plants. Sand is suppose to be a little wet and have some stones, shells, etc. at least it was at that numerous beaches I've visited in 40 years. Plus, I'm in Texas and anything wet and cool is a good thing lol. I'm about to order some since my local store can't keep it in supply from selling so fast. GREAT PRODUCT FOR PLANTS, SANDBOXES, AND OTHER PROJECTS.

We bought 1,500 lbs, 30 bag so of sand for an 8x8 sandbox.  This is perfect sand for a sandbox.  Out of 30 bags we've found two small rocks and the kids were excited to find the them. I'm not sure what the staining conments are about, it's natural sand lol. Also it's a little wet and the kids love that so they can make castles and houses.  I'm so glad I did listen to the other reviews and bough this sand, it's  much cheaper than anything else and perfect.

Perfect for sandboxes

This is good sand for a punching bag. If you're looking to fill a freestanding, punching bag, you'll probably need three bags of this.

We've moved a lot recently and my son misses his sandbox the most from our last condo. I grabbed a under-bed sized box and filled it with sand at our new place. I probably only needed one. But just in case I got two! It's nice to have the lid for it as it rains all the time here! And on good days he'll dig in it for hours. Last Tuesday I hid some dinosaur fossils in it, it's been raining and he hasn't found them yet.

We brought the sandbox home.

I enjoy shopping at Walmart. But just because it's cold out or it's winter doesn't mean put away all the bags of gravel , sand, etc.  I went to Walmart to get some bags of gravel because I had a pipe burst underneath my gravel driveway. fixed it refilled it with what was dug up. Well that left a muddy dip in my driveway. So I know Walmart sells bags of gravel, I've brought plenty during the summer.I may have needed 5 to 10 bags. Looking for gravel they're put away for the winter? So people only need them in summer? There was  a half pallet of sand , pallets of mulh, garden soil, some pavers or whatever. So I filled my dip in the gravel driveway with about 4 bags of sand need more but Im not using sand guess I'll have to wait til summer for Walmart to put out a pallet of gravel.

The bag of sand was not a 50 lbs. Plus it was all taped up. The bag was a half of a bag. I will not be ordering until you fix it. I spent 35.00 on a 50 lbs bag not a 25 lbs.

I have bought this sand for the last several years to fill the low areas in my yard where i put my above ground pool. It has worked great in previous years but this year the bags had several rocks mixed in the sand from dime to quarter size. Had to sift the rocks out with a screen to use. Something changed with the quality control of the manufacturer. Just be aware if you are using these in a play box for small children, there may be small rocks mixed in the sand which could be a chocking hazard.
