I love this saute pan. It is large enough to use as a skillet or for many, many other uses. Tonight, I cooked Greek Shrimp in it. I purchased the entire cookware set because of its looks. Did not need a new set; the one I had was just fine. But I love the looks of these. After bringing them home, I found them to be great to use as well. I purchased this large saute' pan and the large soup pot separately. Have used the saute' pan more than I thought I would. They look great and cook great!

This pan gets a lot of use in my home. It's huge, and we use it to cook a variety of things, not just saute. Holds a lot, cleans up easily, and has a cute robin egg-like pattern. Couldn't live without it!

At first I thought I might be purchasing too large of a size of pan. This is the perfect size. It is a great addition the set. This has silicone handles which is really helpful. I have severe arthritis and believe it or not this is really helpful for me. I am very pleased with the product.

I got Paul's cookware for mother's day. This pan didn't come with it. So when I got the money to get it, I got it!!! I love this cookware. The food doesn't stick and the appearance is lovely as well. If you can get Paul's cookware it is well worth the money for it!!!

We first purchased the red 5.0 qt saute pan with lid about 3 to 4 years ago. With deep vertical sides it's great for skillet type meals preventing food from falling out of the pan while stirring. Handles are attached by heavy aluminum rivets. Over the 2 to 3 years we had it my daughter and I, about 5 to 7 times combined turned the burner on high to preheat the pan and walked away, returning to find the pan smoking. The nonstick surface has never lifted off and food cooked in it has never tasted burned with the nonstick surface working after 3 years just as it did new out of the box. I have also left food on the burner burning it to the bottom and the nonstick surface is definitely nonstick. With constant washing in the dishwasher it looks great and the exterior is only slightly faded. Somewhere around the 2 year mark the handle started to loosen, but not badly. My daughter now has that pan. About one year ago we purchased the blue 12 piece set and a blue 5.0 qt saute pan with lid. This new set has performed with the same results as described above. The entire set starts with a heavier than normal aluminum pan covered with a nonstick surface on the inside and a porcelain exterior. My youngest daughter just moved out and I will be purchasing her one of the 15 pc sets that includes the 5.0 qt saute pan with lid. This would make a great wedding gift, house warming gift, or gift of any kind for the person in need of pots and pans. The only reason I gave this a 4 in the value section is the price of this pan is cheaper if you purchase it in the 15pc set which includes this pan. Thank you Paula Deen for a superior product.

After one year of use, the non-stick coating is already peeling off. I don't use metal tools - only wood spoons and plastic spatulas. Very disappointed in this product.

this pan is outstanding, just the right size for our family of 7. Looks great, cooks great, and washes up great. I am so glad that I purchased this pan to go along with the matching cookware set. The color red matches my kitchen perfectly.

I have a whole slue of paula deen cookware, all in the butter color, I love them. Cook evenly, not too heavy to maneuver and clean easily, handles stay cool and the bottom hasn't gotten scorch marks. Very pleased.

This frying pan is just what we needed for our family of 5 large dinners. I have had it for about a month and just love it. It is great for the everyday uses as well as for cooking things that need to slow cook for hours. This pan is very functional and it also looks great. And I haven't had any problems with the warping that others said they had happen. Just don't use wooden spoons or spatulas on it. You really can only use softer utencils.

The first time I heated on the stove it warped and the lid wouldn't fit anymore. Took it back to the store for a refund and will buy another brand. So mad because I really liked the look and the yellow was so pretty.

We've had this pan for about a year. I love the look and the functionality of it (we have it in Red). BUT, after a while, the bottom warped and it no longer sat flat on the cooktop. The teflon peeled up all over and we had to toss it. This has happened with all the cheaper pans I've owned. We don't use super-high heat and never use anything metal on the pan. owever, cleaning is super-easy. I simply spray it with water and wipe clean with a sponge and some dishsoap. I've never had to scrub it. So basically, I have a love/hate relationship with this pan.... and, believe it or not, I'm actually looking to replace it with the exact same pan.

Me, my mother, my cousin, and my sister all bought one of these pans. The first couple of times we used ours perfect no compaints, and after a while I noticed that the center of the pan started bowing up. I thought maybe mine was just defective but all of their's did the same thing. We all have the full line of the paula dean cookware and they are perfect. I am going on 3 years with my set and perfect, love them, but this pan I hate.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my wife. Let me say first, I don't buy Kitchenware for my wife ever, but she asked for a good pan. Two things on this caught my eye, first Paula Dean's name. I've seen her an feel she's down to earth and honest. Second was the color and the fact it was porcelan. My wife loved it, and has used it often. It's easy to clean, and things aren't sticking at all.
