Umbrella Base - used as base for an antenna mast These umbrella bases are a good value considering their low price. I would not use them on my deck or patio because they are made from plastic and have a generally cheap appearance. They did serve my purpose well since I used them as bases for fiberglass antenna masts located in a pasture on my farm. I ordered black items and both packages were marked black but one of the items was white. The "non-removable" filler caps are "removable" and could easily be removed by young children causing the loss of the sand that the units are filled with by the user. 09/01/2010
