Nice light weight table Works well for us :) This table serves it's purpose nicely for us. With my disabilities it's difficult to move heavy tables, but this one is a breeze! It does hold a 17" Laptop, mouse, 2 external drives, a heavy candy dish, without issue. Been using it for several months with regular lode on it most days.It has had soda, coffee, tea, tomato sauce, assorted juice, spilled on it which cleaned up nice. It still looks new, with the exception of one spot where someone sat a very hot pan down without anything under it....but it only shows when a bright light is on.It was a snap to put together, and I have not had to 'tighten' the legs since it was assembled. I'm not saying it's indestructable, but it has lasted longer than expected. I did not use any glue and it has been slid across the floor, put down rather rough by my kids a few times, and still holds up. :)This table has been worth every penny! 08/05/2011
Worst table I have ever seen .. really. Bought this online as a package with the end tables. Truly, this is the silliest piece of "furniture" I have ever come across. It doesn't appear to be so much a table as it does a movie prop. It's basically cardboard with hollow insides. I am not kidding or exaggerating in the slightest when I say that if you spilled a drink on this thing, it would almost certainly eat right through it and collapse. The entire table can be easily lifted from the end with one hand by a 130 pound woman. It's just completely a joke. Immediately returned to a local store on seeing it. 07/19/2011
I'm not quite sure why customers are complaining about the product's weight and quality. I've owned all three pieces for the past 3 years while in college and they have lasted. Being lightweight was a pro in my situation and despite them light, they were very sturdy, to my surprise. For the coffee table, I placed a 20 gallon fish tank filled to the brim on top of it and it ENDURED! That's right, 20 gallons of water/glass sitting on top of it. Many of you would also know that water is a big no-no on tables such as these, but everything was fine. My conclusion: instead of complaining about weight, durability, and sturdiness 5 minutes after you open the box, use it for 3 years like I have and then have your say. Great product, incredible price (college budget) and very durable. 01/27/2012
Great value for the price I bought the coffee table and 2 matching end tables for my seldom-used guest room. The price was great, and the furniture is very sturdy, also easy to assemble. Of course it's not Broyhill, for that price, but it is exactly as pictured online and perfect for what I needed. 08/07/2011
