Good product This rod looks great in my guest bedroom. I would have liked it to be a little thicker but it gave an extra hanging piece which made it more stable. Good buy 10/26/2010
Loved it, except ..... I really like this curtain rod and it fits my bedroom decor perfectly.The only problem (and reason I gave it 4 stars) was mine was also broken upon receipt. The finial on the end was broken off the rod. The whole thing appears to be made of that plaster kind of material they seem to make everything out of anymore (think fake ceramic). There were others I liked, but were nearly 2x the cost and since I was purchasing drapes and bedding, I settled on this one knowing I could always return it if I was unsatisfied.I was going to send it back and re-order, but my DH super-glued it and it appears to be ok. We haven't mounted it and placed the weight of the drapes on the rod yet, so I don't know if his fix will hold or not. I think in my case where the break is we'll be ok. If it doesn't hold, I'll update my post.Seems to be a recurring problem whether you'll receive a broken rod or not. If you're willing to chance it, then I say order one if you like it. It's not high quality and you get what you pay for. In my case, no one's going to climb on something to look at my curtain rod 7' off the ground.For my money, I feel it's still a value. 01/18/2010
