Decent badminton set Playing badminton outdoors is tricky: you have to contend with wind, uneven ground and, normally, substandard nets and equipment. What are those who love playing badminton to do? Well, you could do worse than to buy one of these sets. Unlike most badminton sets, the Park and Sun one has sturdy metal standards and a decent net. The stakes, alas, are plastic and will eventually need to be replaced with metal (camping) ones, but that is not a big deal. The set comes with bright yellow rope lines (wish they were flat nylon ones--less likely for players to trip over those, but these are ok).On the downside, my set came with a broken plastic container of three shuttlecocks; and the plastic shuttlecock tails were squashed, leaving them virtually unplayable. Park and Sun needs to do a better job packing these. The four rackets are lightweight and not bad for a set, but any semi-serious badminton player will want to get their own rackets.Overall, the set is worthwhile. 08/01/2010
Not worth the price The rackets are not up to the standard. They are made up of alimunium rather than carbon fiber. Nets are of average quality as well. The net, stands and fastners are good value for money though. 08/16/2010
