Soooo COOL and SOOO FUN ! This product exceeded every expectation. Got it for my niece (age 8) for an early Christmas present. Ended up being played with for HOURS by all the kids and adults (ages 4-60) ! It has a lot of cool options and makes even our 4 year old sound like a REAL SINGER--- even though all she wanted to sing was Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer... Getting one for our kids now, once they are back in stock .... and I admit that I will be playing with it, too. ;) 12/24/2011
great fun, picture is misleading Santa Got this in store for my 6 yr old and we have all been having great fun. The item is about the size of a kindle or other small tablet and very light, ( maybe just a circuit board in a housing)The controls are just stickers that respond to touch but work well. Good volume and sound quality, read your instructions you can adjust the music and mic volume independently. Also you will get static or feedback if the mic is close to the speaker.Downloaded the software, all the songs on the website you need to buy via i tunes but you can copy your own mp3 from your pc so we have been having lots of choices with that.Overall not the most sophisticated instrument but definitely lots of fun for the 5 to 9 yr old group and even some older ones.Its also enjoyable to use just as a pa voice changing amplifier by not choosing a song to play. 01/05/2012
Don't Waste Your Money!! I was excited about this product since it was recommended in a magazine. I was then very disappointed when my 8 year old opened it on Christmas and we had many problems with it. It doesn't sound good at all. She has put it down and not picked it back up since that day even though she loves to sing! It is designed to be clipped onto their waistband but it's hard to get it on. Also, if the unit is too close to the mike, it has awful feedback. This happens often because the cord is so short. The perfect pitch feature doesn't work at all, it made her voice sound terrible, which you can't hear the speaker much louder than her real voice! Next, you can only load 3 songs onto it at a time! The songs that come preloaded are not suitable for children either! I couldn't believe the words when I read them in the user guide. We are returning this. Spend a few extra dollars and get a karaoke machine instead, that's what I will be doing. 01/03/2012
Worst gift ever!! I got it for my 9 year old for Christmas. Song plays for 4 seconds then horrible static. Could not get volume control to work so it was loud static!! Ruined Christmas so I will be standing in line on the 26th returning it. I didn't expect too much but this was just awful! 12/25/2011
