Rated 3 out of 5★ by hardnosedreviewer So far, So-so It's been about 3 weeks since purchase. So far, it's been working pretty well compared to my old machine. Understand that since so little time has gone by, I'm not going to say its a great microwave, durable, meets my expectations, etc, or that I recommend it, because its too soon to say. (That I don't recommend it now doesn't mean its bad either.) However, I can state 3 significant positives & one significant negative at this point. Positive: 1) the steady power output claimed by the manufacturer when you set less than 100% power is real. It does lead to even, controlled heating/cooking, compared to past microwaves I have had. 2) 100% power is a lot of power...water/soup/etc heat fast. 3) The cavity is very large, therefore large dishes can be put in it. Of course, the box dimensions are pretty big, too, so you need to be sure you have shelf space. Negative: The dial only sets the time, NOT the power level. This is NOT particularly useful/efficient, because usually you know how much time you want, and punching a few numbers into the keypad are easy. However, punching the power button many times just to get the power down to a low level is stupid...a twist of dial is the best way to accomplish this kind of thing (just like dials on car radios or aircon systems are better than up/down buttons). The way the dial works for time is especially bad, because when you begin twisting, it increases time by 5 sec increments...but after awhile it switches to 30 sec increments, so it is hard to know how much to turn the dial to get what you want...you have to work at it. It is annoying instead of helpful. 11/04/2009
Rated 5 out of 5★ by LivesForReviews Loving it. The options & styling on this device are great. I haven't even had a chance to use them all, but I try to use a new 1 each week. There isn't anything that I have found, so far, that I don't like about this microwave. Well, I guess if I'm really picky, there is one. I don't like that you can't and or subtract time using the 'more/less' buttton after you start cooking. Other than that, it's terrific. My parents have this device in the GE version, and they love it too. None of us have had any problems. I also love the fact that it can be converted into a 'in the wall' unit with just the purchase of the mounting items. I highly recommend this microwave. 11/24/2009
Rated 4 out of 5★ by tadaworship I like it. We got this to replace our 17 year old microwave and we really like it. It cooks food through and warm. It took a little to get used to popping microwave popcorn, but we got it now. very easy to use, looks good in our kitchen. 03/03/2009
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Honky1 Don't buy a pig in a poke This microwave has a knob, rather than a keypad, to select the cook time. Once you get to 10 seconds, you can only select the time in 5 second intervals. Another feature that I don't care for is that for a high wattage oven, it takes longer to heat the same item than our previous oven. 03/10/2009
Rated 5 out of 5★ by ReaderOfMysteries I just purchased this Microwave a month ago. So far, it meets all my expectations. It replaces another Panasonic that I had for five years that quit working. I really can't rate its durability yet, so I rated it average. 11/16/2009
Rated 1 out of 5★ by ShopOnlineNow Panasonic 2.2 I have to rate this low since the microwave came in damaged (shipped to our house). The box was intact but the side of the microwave was dented and the door did not work. We returned the mircorwave to the store. We did not reorder since we were concerned it would come in damaged again. Can not say how well it worked since it was not usable when delivered. 12/05/2009
