Otherwise, the picture quality of an HDTV without an HD source may not be much better than a standard-definition TV. Spectacular plasma TV The picture on this TV is spectacular. The color is crisp and as lifelike as you could imagine. Setup was extremely easy as was programming and learning its features. The sound is very clear and you would think the speakers are larger than they are. The only thing miising on this product is a PC port, but that was not a major consideration for us. We had considered many others (including SONY, Sharp and Vizio), but are more than satisfied we chose this.I HIGHLY recommend it. 12/22/2008
I have read other consumers reviews and I have to say that I was impressed with the rating. Subsequently, I ordered a new Panasonic plasma three weeks ago. The tv has great features but when I turned it on, there was a huge yellow stripe on the screen. I went through the owner manual to figure out the problem with no success....I'm simply disappointed... 12/17/2008
