Very nice product--well made of good quality materials. The biggest plus is that it reclines back farther than others we'd seen. This is really helpful for my when my husband's spinal arthritis is acting up. He slept in the recliner last night and stayed asleep all night with no discomfort. He did need to put a pillow in the low back area to fill in the small gap between the seat and the back when it's fully reclined, but that was not a problem. Worth noting: the chair arrives in two separate pieces in the box, which made getting it into the house much easier than if it was one bulky item. The back attaches very easily to the main part of the chair. As I said, everything is very well made and thought out.

After looking on and off for 2 months and looking at this chair time and time again, I ordered the beige version when the price dropped to $199 (from $229) and received it June 3. My criteria were high customer ratings, comfort, quality, ability to rock back and forth, recline in different positions, ease of assembly, and keeping cost and shipping under $300. From the looks of this chair and sitting in it, all requirements were met. This chair is comfortable, bottom cushion firm. Wouldn't recommend it for anyone over 5'8" or so as your feet would hang off the end. If you are a bit overweight, you might want to pass as this isn't very wide. The lever to recline is pretty stiff, need to use a bit of force, but it's not that difficult and will probably be easier over time. Sliding the back onto the chair is amazingly simple. Put one side slightly in, then lift the other side and then guide both in equally. Push down until it snaps in place. Took me 15 seconds. I had the box shipped for about $50 and had the person take it up a carport, then I took it the rest of the way. Was concerned about curbside shipping and a box weighing that much. The box is big, already broke it down and didn't get measurements. It did not fit through the door so I opened it up outside and brought the two pieces in - no big deal. Not sure what the real weight is as the box says 83 pounds, my shipping invoice said 96. The vibrating part is a take it or leave it thing. Settings are 1 or 2 areas vibrate at high or low. I doubt it will be used. My total cost was a couple pennies short of $250 shipped. If you are on the fence about deciding on a recliner and keeping the price reasonable, you won't be sorry with this purchase.

I'm 65 and a woman! I wanted a new recliner for the den for myself. The old one was a massaging chair (with vibration options) with a foot stool that was separate. I was sick of having to pull the foot stool close to the chair. The chair did recline, but . . .l So I researched (online) reclining massage chairs: Lazyboy, etc., but all were $800 to $2,000. Then I found this one at the WalMart website and just went for it . My husband set it up within 5 minutes and it works great! The color was perfect (not too gold; just a nice neutral tan). For the $249, it's a steal. I love the fabric - very soft. It's the perfect size for me: I'm 5'6" and 190#. It was a little short for my husband at 6' and 180#, but he agreed it was so comfortable and just wide enough for his skinny body and long enough for him to be comfortable. Hope this helps.

Is it easy to assemble this. How many people are required to do it ? How much time does it consume ? Would appreciate if someone can answer. Cheers.

    • Literally took two minutes and it only takes one person. You just slide the back of the chair down on two hinges. SUper Easy!

    • Simple 2 piece assembly. Takes longer to get it out of the box than assemble it. The relatively useless massage feature requires only 2 simple connections after you slide the back of the chair onto it's support posts.

    • It is super easy to assemble you just take it out of the box, and snap the top and the bottom and plug in the masssage wires. I'm pregnant and I did it myself in 4 minutes.

    • None of the above. It simply vibrates and makes quite a bit of noise. DO NOT purchase this chair if you are looking for something that massages. It's super comfy but we NEVER use the massager.

    • doesn't really "massage". it's more like it vibrates. and not quietly and not in the area of the back that you would reap any benefit from it.
