Rated 3 out of 5★ by dabaldwarrior Not a QUALITY tent For the average person this is not for you. But for someone with certain skills, this is a bargain. All the major components are there to become a great tent. With modification (more guy outs), waterproofing to add strength and texture (GE Clear Silicone II and mineral spirits) structural enhancements’ (one inch electrical conduit, three quarter inch PVC pipe, 12” spike nails). Living in Hawaii we camp year round so when we found this tunnel tent from Wal Mart we purchased two, one for use and one for parts. We also replaced all eight of the fiber glass ceiling pole with electrical conduit. Waterproof both outer shells replaced all the stacks with 12 nails and flat washers. We have three COSTCO special Coleman Salmon River Cabin tents that is 12 X 16 which are nine years old. We made the modifications; waterproofing, structural enhancements to the Coleman tents are pleased with their durability. As we age the wife and I decided we need one larger tent to haul and set up. Granted this humongous tunnel tent has a large foot print it still is sweet when I don’t have haul all the extra pipe and fitting for a 20’ x 30’ canopy, 25’ wind break and 12’ x 16’. Always face one end of the tent into the wind for cooling. As stated earlier this is not a QUALITY tent; but it is a bargain for my family.AlohaOverall Rating got three star for the quality of the hardware (poles & stakes) and material (nylon & 1000 mm rating water repellency)Value got excellent for the price of $449.00 try price an OutWell tunnel tent...
