Ozark Trail 9' x 8' Dome Tent 3.5 5 111 116
So far So good So I decided to go with this tent 'cause of price. This is what I found out after using it once.Set up was easy and went fairly quick. Tear down went quickly too and I was able to get the tent repacked in the storage bag with lil fuss. Concerns about the rain fly being too small form other reviews make me wonder what the problme is? Mine appeared to fit and cover the screen mesh top with no problems. The tent held my girlfriend and me on a queen size air mattress with extra room to stow our gear. we did suffer a heavy dew during the night and the tent kept us dry as long as you din't touch the sides, Options for a heavy rain us a extra tarp as a second fly and try a can of seam sealer. So far I'm impressed with this tent 06/14/2009
Great little tent I bought this tent primarily for its compact size and cost. I am very large 6'8", so it definitely is NOT a multi-person tent for me. But I found it to be quite comfortable and very easy to setup. I have spent a couple of nights in the rain, including one absolutely awesome thunderstorm, with this tent and have yet to get wet. 06/22/2009
Almost perfect for a short camping trip. I bought this tent because of the price, quite honestly. I needed something that would at least last me through a weekend camping trip. I have read other reviews else where about this tent, and noticed some pretty bad reviews, and few good ones. I took a chance and here's what I have to say:1. It was SUPER easy to put up and take down, NO my poles didn't shatter. But it was difficult to get back in the small bag they give you.2. It didn't rain, but I felt the rain fly was too small.3. I don't know if this was my fault, but the sides of the tent seemed to come in, as though the fabric had been cut too large, not a huge problem, but got annoying when I tried to sleep and it was windy.4. It comfortably fit my queen size blow up mattress by the same company. I had room to put my bags on the sides.5. I wish it had more windows.6. GET DIFFERENT STAKES!!!7. Again something small, but got annoying: The fabric that covered up the zipper kept getting caught in the zipper, and I had made two small holes on it trying to loosen it.All and all, Im happy. It stood up to the wind, and I will use it again for weekend trips. 05/03/2009
Good for light camping I bought this tent for a weekend camping trip, mostly for the price. It kept the rain off and the bugs out which, for less than forty bucks, is all you can really ask for.Like most other reviewers, I felt the fly-sheet was too small, and I feel it could be a real problem in high winds (it looks like rain could easily blow under the fly sheet).Basically, if you're trip is going to last a couple of weeks and you're expecting sub-zero temperatures or heavy thunderstorms, this is probably not the tent for you. If, however, you're going away for the weekend and are expecting a few light showers, you won't do much better for the price.Having said that, after reading some bad reviews, I pitched the tent in my back yard and blasted it with the garden hose, simulating a heavy rain for about an hour. When I checked the inside was still bone dry. 06/08/2009
