    • A. No way! One or the other. Maybe 4 tightly packed adults in bags, or a Queen bed, but not both. Id say the best you could do is the Queen bed and one child next to it.

    • A. yes there is enough room for a queen size mattress and two sleeping bags. and probably the rest of your stuff if you do it right. I got my queen size mattress, my dogs bed, two storage bins of food, all my luggage, a lantern and small bedside table and a rug with the dog food and waters bowls. I still had plenty of room

    • A. Hm, MAYBE. I was one person in a sleeping bag without an air mattress, and I thought it would be a little snug for four sleeping bags, let alone an air mattress and two. But Ozark makes an identical 5 person tent. I would probably go for that one just to be on the safe side.

I am camping this summer with friends, and about all 8 of them are pranksters and goofballs, 4 of those 8 are guys and I would rather not be spied on through my windows when I change and sleep. They are capable of anything. So I'd like to have privacy in my tent.

    • A. yes the vent flaps on the side zip closed, but the vents on the top are covered only by the rain fly, which is removable from the outside. so if someone really wanted to be a jerk, they could take the rainfly off and peep through the top. suggest new friends.

    • A. Yes, you can zip the windows up for full privacy from the inside and there us a rain flap (the red overhang in the photos) to prevent rain from running down the sides of the tent.

    • A. All of the side windows zip up and provide complete privacy. The top vents, however, do not. But if you put your rain fly on the tent, that should take care of that problem.

    • A. Yes, the windows all zip up for complete privacy. If you have a light on in the tent after dark you will be quite well silhouetted on the thin fabric on the sides of the tent so you may want to keep that in mind.

    • A. Yes. They zip closed for privacy, but then you don't get much ventilation, which is true with all tents. You will be hot in a closed up tent. Also, this particular tent leaks like crazy in the rain.

I am posting this review as part of my entry in Walmart's Ratings and Reviews Contest. I thought this tent was great, it worked well when I went camping with some friends. It was durable and easy to set up, as well as extra spacious for myself and a friend.

This tent does not stand up well in wind and rain. First time using it, wind pulled stakes out of the ground and the tent blew 1/8 mile down the road. Good part is that it withstood all the blowing and rolling without breaking.

If you have ANY camping experience at all (or really, any measurable common sense), then you know to treat your gear (i.e., your tent and its poles, etc.) with care and respect. With that having been said, this $35 tent is outfreakinstanding! There are varied descriptions in the reviews (I don't think Walmart filters them by model #, just generic description of the brand). The one I purchased has the 3 open mesh sides and one small D-shaped window on the D-shaped door. It has the mesh "gear hammock" at the top and the organizer pouch at one of the ends (both are quite useful, but not so sure I would put electronics in the organizer pouch if it's wet out). The zipper, like most say, is pretty janky and will get caught in the fabric as there is no zipper guard. The rainfly provides excellent coverage, but not great ventilation from what we experienced. I didn't use actual seam sealant, but used Camp Dry waterproofing spray all over the seams and inside of the tent (you must allow 48 hrs for it to cure after spraying). My fiancee and I bought it for camping this summer. First and foremost, always set your tent-up with a tarp underneath to protect the fabric and also to prevent unwanted moisture from getting inside. We set it up the first time in the backyard with a queen air mattress (8.75" thick is what ours is...any thicker and you'll be way to close to the tent sides and might suck in some fabric while sleeping). It has outstanding ventilation without the rainfly, but suffers a little with it on as I mentioned earlier. The next time we set it up, I left it up when it started to rain in order to test its durability in the rain. I had it staked down and the rainfly on (of course) and the queen air mattress inside with blankets and pillows (we slept in it the night before). The rain was moderate, but steady, most of the morning and afternoon while I was at work and the wind was between 5 and 10 mph variable. When I got home from work, there was absolutely no moisture of any kind inside the tent...bone-dry...and it was still as taught as when I set it up and staked it down two days before. In addition to the original contents of the bag, I was also able to fit our tarp, rubber mallet, extra stakes, and 2 bungee cords in it...and that is, yes you guessed it, outstanding. You will not be disappointed with this tent if you use common sense and care. Go make the chimichangas! Maximum. Effort.

I wanted to leave an appropriate review for people who are looking for a decent sized backpacking tent at WalMart. Obviously this is not a high end tent, but for the price it does the job and then some. 1. Very easy to set up...I do it by myself and it takes me around 5 minutes from start to finish. The poles are thinner than some of the larger tents, but as long as you show care when assembling them they should last a long time. 2. The tent itself is very lightweight. I use it for backpacking, so I repack my tent into a stuff sack rather than in the case it came with...it can and does pack smaller than its original packaging (which is small enough already). 3. The tent is very roomy. I doubt it would fit 4 people comfortably, but if you had to cram them in there it would work. I am 6'3" so I needed something larger than a 7'x7' footprint, and this tent works great. I lay lengthwise, I can store my pack and accessories in the tent with room to spare, and there is even enough room to sit up comfortablely to change clothes. 4. I always seal my tents, so I am not sure how water resistant this one is on its on, but the first night I used it we had a very hard rain from 3am until about 7am, and there was no water in the tent. I would recommend using a ground cloth because the tub floor seems a little thin, but as long as you are paying attention to the area you are pitching, you will be fine. 5. Overall this tent has been a major success. My son and I enjoy camping and this tent is the perfect size for us.

We used it first time on a warmer night in the woods. was great to have the four screened windows. I also liked the little 'entry mat' included. Nice tent not too heavy on my pack.
