    • A. The room divider is just a sheet of polyester that clips in two corners across the tent. There is one for each end. It just provides a modest level of privacy, great for if you have the door open that someone can't see you dressing behind it. An adult can see over the top as it doesn't reach the roof. But it really isn't much. It is great though to be able to open up the space when needed.

    • A. there are two fabric tent dividers that attach by a plastic clip to the insides of the tent walls. There is a decent amount of privacy, but if you were looking for a wall that a flashlight would not glare though or a small area that another person could not see through than this is not the tent for you.

    • A. the dividers are a thin nylon..and it attaches with little plastic hooks in 4 corners. As for privacy..maybe at night but not much when there is light out. We used one of ours to hang over the front door instead of taking the entrance canopy down every night. Worked great!

    • A. There are small hooks on the dividers themselves and you will find the loops in the appropriate corners. As far as privacy goes, not really as you would think. Remember sounds carry throughout the tent, but the dividers do help.

    • A. 2015-MAYBE PREVIOUS MODELS OF THIS TENT HAD A TUB FLOOR, BUT THE CURRENT VERSION DOES NOT! I bought this tent based on it having a tub floor and was quite disappointed when I set it up to find that the seams are at ground level. The tarp bottom is also very thin. WalMart, it would be much more helpful to buyers if the reviews posted were only on the current version of the products for sale. It is very difficult to find accurate descriptions and make informed decisions on purchases. I cannot imagine that the ratings are close to 5 starts on the tent I received in 2015. It seems very flimsy and cheap, unlike past Ozark Trail tents I have used.

    • A. the floor is made of a thick material like a tarp you would use for cleaning up leaves for example. the tarp comes up on all four sides of the tent so it creates a small 'tub'. essentially it just means you don't need to put down a tarp first, you just setup the tent anywhere and don't worry about it, because the tarp is the bottom of the tent.

    • A. A tub floor in a tent means that the floor comes up off the ground on all sides...instead of laying just flat even with the ground...this helps ensure dryness.

    This Tent is a Beast!

I spent the better part of the last month reviewing around 50 tents for this camping season and always kept coming back to this one. After reading all of the reviews here and elsewhere I went ahead and purchased one hoping for the best. We just got back from camping in the mountains of Western NC and let me tell you this tent was amazing! Not only is it huge and totally accomodating for the group we had with us but it is well made and looks fantastic set up. I was a little worried about fitting this monster into a standard camp site but it did great and we actually got it as well as a 9x7 triangle tent and a pop up 2 person intstant tent on our site with plenty of room to spare. See the pics for details. My other fear was all the reviews of tent poles breaking and rain leakage. We did put down a tarp for good measure before putting up the tent and treated the lower seams with Coleman seam sealer. We had two major thunder storms while we were camping, the worst in years according to the campground owners who were busy reassuring campers after the storms that it "rarely happens" in their area. The tent flexed some initially as we hurried to get inside when this storm literally came out of nowhere but there was no movement at all once the door was secured. As for leakage...not a single drop, and it rained hard for an hour and a half straight! When the storm was over we saw tents blown down around the campgrounds including our own 2 person pop up instant tent, but the Big Beast as my kids now call it would not be moved. This tent is easy to set up and is everything we've always wanted in a tent big enough to accomodate a large group. I have read all the reviews as I have said and the only thing I can think of for the issues brought up is user error. I can easily see how the flex poles could snap on someone who is struggling to get them in the corner connectors and gets frustrated and just jams them in or bends the heck outta them causing them to break. Or how the fabric guides for the poles could rip due to the end sections of the shock corded poles tearing the material due to someone not paying attention and forcing them through. In all this tent is well worth the money and I look forward to many more wonderful weekend trips with it.

We put up the tent for the first time this past weekend and my girls slept in it. Nice breeze they said and comfortable. I was a bit worried about the storm that passed through our area on Monday, but with the wind and the heavy, heavy rain I came home from work and there it stood. Only a bit of water came in through one of the back vents with all of the wind, otherwise dry as a bone. thanks for a great tent, great deal and very roomy for my entire family plus.

I just recently purchased this tent. When i bought it, I set the tent up because the conditions for the next day were windy and raining. The tent flexed and with stood about 20 to 25 mph gust. The rain was a light steady rain for half the day. I did notice the bottom seam, that connects the tarp bottom to the tent side, did leak slightly. The leak was here and there with small drops, nothing major. The tent was easy to set up. I barely had to use the instructions. All in all, This tent is very spacious, and I am happy with the purchase I'm not sure why a few people put that the fiber glass poles snapped. The only thing i can think of is that they put the longer fiber glass pole where the short ones were suppose to go. If you did this i could see a lot of stress being put on the poles and breaking them.

We purchased this exact tent from Walmart during the summer of 2011. We have since used it for nearly 15 camping trips with our little boy as well as extended family. It is so spacious - you can easily stand inside without hunching over, and it can accommodate 3 queen air mattresses with room to spare! Last summer we were camping in the mountains when a terrible rain storm hit, accompanied by thunder and lightening. The campground was drenched and the storm lasted well over two hours. We took cover in the tent and I was shocked that not one drop of rain seeped in. The rain was sheeting against the sides (where the screens are), and nothing! We stayed perfectly dry and the tent dried off within an hour or two once the sun hit it! It is great quality. We love this tent!
