In comparison to: Ozark Trail 10-Person 3-Room XL Camping Tent - About the same footprint. - Feels smaller because the one end goes lower, but houses people and stuff comfortably. (6-7 w.cots) - Fly definitely covers more surface. No worries about rain and all seams are taped so don;t have to seam seal. - End to end design makes this tent preferable over the WMT922.2 when looking to use more than 1 because setting them up side-by-side makes for easy navigation on your site. Summary: We need three more tents for this week long concert we attend every summer. We have 3 WMT922.2's that we used last summer and they worked great, but going into this year needing 2-3 more tents we decided these would be best because our site will be even tighter. This will be great for maintaining the walking paths. Tip: No need to steak down the ropes. That fly works great!

This tent is huge!! we bought this tent last season for camping, it was an upgrade from our little four man tent for me and my fiancé and our dogs. To say the least this is huge for two people ad just two small dogs. Our friends all want our tent. My fiance set this big tent up himself at a camping site, the hardest part was putting the poles in the sleeve and pinning the pole at the ends, once that was done you literally steak the end and pull it up and wa la its up. Rain fly can be fun by yourself, but two would be nice. We live in NM and we camp in the mountains where it is windy and rains. We stayed through a storm one night and part of a day and stayed completely dry in the tent. We also bought some fabric sealer and gave the tent a couple coats to be safe. This tent is worth your time and money!

i like the tent. its easy to set up after the first time can be set up by one semi-experienced person. doesent seem to leak was concerned when i set it up the tent sure is airy ! (alot of screen!) but the full cover seems to work great. it could use a steak in the middle of the door but im going to add that myself. seems to be sturdy and everything but the power cord entry could be better thought out. but some thought will keep the bugs out. (it kinda hang open with an extention cord in it.). only hugh complaint is lack of a place to hang a light or fan from the ceiling but....going camping for first time this weekend looking forward to seting it up, just stake the front put the poles in and pull the handle in the back and it pops right up. lol (easier than fighting with the kids and wife to hold poles !!!) you do need heavy duty tent stakes with it too tho the ones you get wont hold the tent in a wind. ow and watch u dont trip over the stings that hold the rain fly !! lol

For starters the tent ,is very large, but you want to be sure you have an site that your tent fits into 20 x 10, is no little pup tent. Putting up the tent has detailed instructions inside the case, I was able put the(by myself) base part with ease, thought the the rain fly was a little more difficult but manageable(two person help is ideal). Space wise was exactly what I was looking for in a tent, it was just me and the little lady with plenty of room to spare. During our trip we did experience heavy down pour, but like any tent some leakage, more like, sprays (mist) when the rain pounded, nothing compared to the one tent we had. A little waterproofing should take care of it (this was at the zipper end in the back of the fly). We didn't water proof before we use mainly I want to see if the tent had any weak spots so we could take of it easily. As for the poles I was deeply surprise how solid they were, (up grade maybe from before) the stakes were Ok for the ground we were on but I suggest another set of extra stakes that are heavier.

Not too happy with some design elements.

I was very impressed with the size of this tent and love that I could stand up almost everywhere. My problem with this tent is design elements. My other Ozark Trail tent has the mesh on the outside and the nylon windows on the inside so you can open or close from inside. The front of this tent has two windows that zip from the inside but he back window only opens from the outside. I wanted both windows open for airflow but got cold in the night and had to get up and go outside to close the back window. The back window also opens from the top so I felt too exposed. The screen door zips along the bottom front but the nylon door does not zip at the bottom which allowed for quite a draft in the breezy night air. I wish the nylon door closed at the bottom and I also with the screen door was on the outside so I could close the nylon on the inside without opening the screen doors to close the nylon doors.
