    • A. There is only one door to get in and out. To access the other room, you go from the first room into the next. The second room has two zippered windows. No door to the outside.

    • A. There is only one door to enter, you enter into the changing/poti room. You then can go into the shower room which has it's own door. So one person could be showering while someone else is using the changing/poti room, hopes that answers your question.

    • A. There is only one entry door (dry side), but there is another zippered door between the two rooms. So basically you could use the shower side (wet side) as the bathroom/shower (as I did) and then open the zippered door and go back into the dry changing side and freshen up/dry off/change cloths etc. Then exit back out.

    • A. Hi Dottie, The two rooms are connected. There is only one door, on the changing room. You would enter the shower room through the changing room, and exit back out the same way. We recommend watching the set up video on this page, as it will help you understand the layout of the product. Thank you, Customer Service

I can't figure out where the shower bag will hang, and it must be heavy. Are the tent poles adequate? How tall do you have to be to hang it up wherever it has to be hung?

    • A. There's a hook at the top that holds the shower bag. As to the strength of the structure to hold 5 gals of water can't say. It may be iffy. I plan on using a new weed sprayer with a kitchen spray faucet attached so I don't have to lift 40 lbs that high.

    • A. The shower bag is about 30 pounds when filled to 5 gallon capacity. There is a double hook in the center of the tent at the strongest point. I would recommend being six feet or close. Enjoy! It's wonderful not having to go to the public showers anymore!

    • A. The bag goes in the middle of the tent ceiling, just above the door on the shower side. I'm 5'6" and can reach the "hook" pretty well. It's at least 10 pounds when filled with water, but the poles had no problem holding it.

    • A. There is a hook inside the shower side, its only sewn into the seam. I decided against hanging the the big 5 gallon shower bag on it since it started to really sag and sounded like the stitching was starting to tear. Its the only downside to the tent. Smaller then the 5 gallon shower bags would probably work just fine. But the weight of the bigger bags will test the limits. I ended up using the shower bags to heat water and used a Nemo pump shower instead.

    • A. I wouldn't hang the shower bag on any part of the shelter. Make a simple stand out of PVC sprinkler parts. Cost ya less than $5. The Tent poles are very well made. Again....DON'T HANG THE WATER BAG ON ANY PART OF THIS TENT. 5 gallons of water weights about 42LBS! Other than that BUY IT you will really like it.

    • A. The shower water bag has a wood dowel handle. The dowel handle fits into a metal hook on the ceiling inside the shower side of the tent. There is also a web mesh bag holder that fits under the water bag for lateral support. The tent poles fairly thick and seem adequate for holding the water bag filled up. I am 5' 8" tall and have no problem hanging the bag. My guess is that you you need to be about 5' 6" or taller to hang plus be able to lift 40 pounds over your head.

    Two-Room Shower Changing Tent

The water receptacle is absolutely too heavy to lift up to the area where the receptacle should be hanging; the receptacle makes the tent lean over too far; there aren't larger hooks where you can hang the water receptacle. I had to improvise using two medium-sized petons to hook to the tent to the receptacle; the receptacle itself hung too low so, it was necessary squatting in order using the receptacle taking a shower. The receptacle doesn't have the same quality as prior water receptacles I've purchased many years ago; the hose itself is cheap as well as the molding surrounding the receptacle. Still, it's absolutely dire tethering the tent in six key points otherwise, the tent would buckle from the water receptacle's weight causing a gross tent leaning imbalance. Finally, I took this tent on my most recent camping trip due to a camping area lacking shower facilities and a changing room; still, this tent despite its design flaws proved worthy retaining this tent as an integral part of my survival gear. I discovered I used this tent daily as a part of getting clean and changing my clothes.

I needed something that would provide both a shower and potty and this fills the bill perfectly. I did extensive research and looked at virtually every other tent out there. At one point I even considered buying two separate tents, but none had the combined features of the Ozark Trail 2-Room Shower Shelter. I love the fact that it sets up in less than a minute, has a generous number of inside loops and hoops to attaching things, two screened windows in the shower side, floors - including a mesh draining floor in the shower side, divider door and because it was designed around an external frame (instead of a pop up internal wire frame) it is sturdy enough to hold a shower bag (albeit as some have reported a week plastic hook that can break). I also like that the fabric is opaque, providing additional privacy while using. My only complaint and the reason I'm not giving this product 5 stars, is the difference between the tent I see shown in the video and the one I received. The video shows two people opening a tent with beautiful smooth fabric. The reality is, the fabric on these tents (or at least mine), is hopelessly wrinkled. I mean reeeeaaallyyy wrinkled. While that certainly doesn't affect the performance, it is disappointing and not what I expected based on the promotional video. Because it is nylon with a silver coating, I'm not going to risk ironing it, even on a low setting. I will however try my steamer to see if it relaxes the fibers enough to improve the looks.

We have a self contained trailer but when we go camping we go for 2 weeks and wanted something that was private and didn't fill our trailer tank up so fast. We decided on this shower tent because of the 2 separate rooms. We are not good at putting things together so we put it up at home first. What a snap thought it would take us along time but only took 5 minutes. We were so excited. We went camping and my sister in law had a different one and it took her and 2 other people 30 min to put her shower tent together. We didn't need ours for this trip but we got ours out and showed her how easy it was. We just came back from camping again and it was for 2 weeks. We put up our shower tent and enjoyed a shower almost everyday! You really don't need a lot of water in the bag. In Fact we filled it half way and had enough water for 2 people. Love Love Love this!!! I would recommend having a small rug as you step out after your shower so any dirt you tracked in doesn't get your clean feet dirty.

We put our portable toilet in the shelter for a family camping trip (7 people). It was a HUGE hit!! The walls are such that you cannot see thru them from outside, even at night with a light shining inside...lots of privacy. Unfortunately, no one was able to use the shower part b/c it rained a lot & the sun was not out to heat the water in the solar bag. :-( I think it will be great when we do get to use that part. The only negative comment that I have is that the floor tends to get very dirty going in & out, but I guess if you were just using it for a shower, that wouldn't happen; or you could use a door mat in front to solve that problem (which I will do next time). It was extremely easy to set up & take down...basically a one-person task for each! Also love the hanging pockets inside...plenty of room for needed shower items, and since it was our "potty room", there was also plenty of space for bath tissue. I would highly recommend if you want a separate place for your portable potty or if you want your own personal shower!!

I own a small popup camper and for years i prefere taking my own showers at my site using my hot water maker and my 2room shelter(North West territory) i got from Kmart 3 years ago. But once i seen this instant shelter i said i must get it because my older shelter took about 15-30 mins. to set up and break down. After setting up the camper and other gear i was never in the mood to deal with poles and headaches with the Kmart shelter.yes the Ozark shelter cost more but for me it's worth the cost. The pluses i see are very quick and painless to set up. Also seems to be alittle tougher in the fabric then my other 2-room shelter. Has 2 side windows compared to one in my other tent. And in between the 2 rooms Ozark has a 3 inch lips which keeps water to one side and limits water from going into other side where my clothes and shoes are unlike my other tent where curtain just hangs and so water pools from one side to the other.Bottom line is i have been looking for years for an instant 2-room shower tent that goes up quickly. I would have purchased this tent for that reason alone but finding all the other pluses was just a PLUS.
