Very pleased with this tent and simple to setup. Was worried about the room inside (sleep area), found it to be ample..very pleased. When I first set it up found it took more than thirty seconds, more like sixty seconds. But that was by myself, and now that I know what to do, can setup in less than thirty seconds. Great tent to carry in my motorcycle trailer, fits well and light weight. Highly recommend !

My scout had a camping trip and his dad wasn't going to be able to attend and help me with tent set up.I went to Walmart to find a tent that I could set up alone.I purchased this tent on the day of trip.It set up easily with help from my son.Tent did not leak after an entire night and morning of continuous rain and wind.Highly recommend.

I purchased this tent as a bundle (tent and air mattress) on sale for 85 bucks over internet. I received the tent on July 1st I set it up that day on my lake lot in Belgrade maine.very easy set up it took me about a minute and a half by myself.i would recommend some sort of lubricant on the metal poles they were a bit difficult to extend to there full length without lubricant, iam sure they will become easier with use.i have left this tent up until today July 14th we have had at least one severe thunderstorms every day since with heavy rains and high winds.when staked properly this tent stood up beautifully .no rips,no tears,no leaks. iam very impressed with the sturdy quality construction .it also has plenty of ventilation to keep the inside cool, very roomy inside for the queen size mattress a four foot folding table and a folding chair. kept all my gear under the table and with a 70in center height I can easily stand up inside.takedown was just as easy. the only drawback was getting the tent back into the bag which took about 10 min the key is getting all the air out .I would also recommend using a tarp under the tent to protect the floor. I think the tent is still a great buy at the non sale price of 99 dollars ,BUY THIS TENT, make sure the poles are fully extended until they snap into place stake it properly with the stakes pointed diagnoly in towards the tent and you will be a HAPPY CAMPER .

    • If you are facing the tent door from outside, it will be to the left. Flap closed using Velcro. Easier to spot from inside as well.

    • On the front of the tent. It's a little high up and makes me wonder if the weight of the extension cord will pull the tent down. I camped at a primitive site so i did not get the chance to test this out.

    • Hi Marsha, The electrical port is at the seam between the orange polyester and gray polyester, on the front side. If you are looking at the tent, it is to the left of the doorway, tucked slightly under the awning, to help prevent leaking. Thank you, Customer Service

    • The floor is a pretty durable material that form's like a tub, and is easily cleaned. If you use any furniture inside, I would recommend getting small tarp (5X8) to put underneath the tent to avoid a puncture.

I always use heavy duty tent stakes instead of the wire ones that come with the unit. How many stakes are needed for this tent?
    by gunslinger1961 5/19/2014
    • There is one stake at each corner and (I think) one stake for each fly corner. Eight total. May be two more for the door mat. (I don't use it)
      by rkh538/21/2014
Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)
    • it uses four stakes. i camp in mild weather and the small ones that came with it have worked fine.
      by ZhouBotong7/22/2014
Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)
    • You could use a total of 8, 4 for each corner, then 4 for the support cord's off each corner. When I used mine, I did experience some strong wind's, and was on soft soil, the wire ones did stay put, but I will be packing just 4 heavy duty stakes on my next trip, just to use on the support cord's.
