Rated 5 out of 5 by MajesticWi Economical car cover I purchased this cover for a 2005 Chev Cobalt sedan. Vehicle is parked outside for the Summer and Fall near pine/cedar trees so birds and tree debris is a constant problem. Frequent vacuuming out the coweling air vents and washing was beginning to be a hassle and an expense.Installation: Was quick and easy. The cover is an excellent fit and the elastic hem in the ends of the cover hold it secure. Since the vehicle is in use periodically, I opted to punch out a hole for the antenna rather than remove it each time the cover is used. I simply removed the antenna, installed cover, mark location of antenna on cover, punched the hole and installed the reinforcement patch. Using the cover takes less than 4 minutes to put in place. Since the cover will be frequently removed, I opted not to use the grommets and tie to further secure the cover to the vehicle.Overall: So far the cover is doing what it is suppose to do. The car is kept clean. I have yet to experience any rain so I don't know how well the cover works in that respect, but my main concern was birds and tree debris. A little water I can live with. Since the cover is machine washable, I suspect over time that the protective water proof finish may eventually degrade due to cleaning or the elements. I could be wrong. Since extreme weather is always a possibility, I can foresee the cover offering some protection from hail which was another reason for my purchase. The cover appears to be well constructed. Panel seams are double stitched and should provide added strength. Time will tell how the cover performs in the elements and I will report back after it has been in use for a while. So far, I am very happy with the purchase. 06/05/2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by KBaye It covers the car not much more It comes nicely packaged and I thought I'd love it until I actually opened it. The bag it comes in is better than the cover. The cover is extremely light and it lets the car breathe it hasn't rained since I used it so I don't know if it repels the rain. My issue with the cover is as far as bird mess goes it acted as a strainer and still let some through. I only paid $27 for it. Shipping was very fast but I would not purchase it again. 04/07/2013
