<p>You can conveniently store your ironing accessories without consuming much of your space with the Over the door ironing Board. Mine was blue with white stripes. I think that they are not all the same, but I don't know that for sure.

I've seen blue and white stripe, solid blue and a silver/gray.

Hooks need 11 inches. Board is 17 inches wide. Door depth is 1 3/8 inches

Not sure of the exact dimensions but my were a little tight. I had to open them a bit using a screwdriver just to pry them wider by 1/8 inch. May leave a mark since my door is painted white but I'll repaint if necessary when I move.

My cover was a little thin but not too bad as some have said. If you find it's too thin for you, you can always get another one or just a pad. WalMart sells these also.

The height is not adjustable and you don't need to get a cover for it. I am pleased with this product.

It was sooooo easy to install (helps if you read the instructions fully first lol).

Once installed it worked perfectly. Takes up no additional space. Easy release and latch and sturdy. I would recommend for any household that's tight on space or just into minimalism.

Excellent Invention

I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner. Have struggled for some time needing a place to put my ironing board up. Where I put it is perfect with an outlet right there. (Only handy outlet in my entire apartment).
That is the one thing you need to think about, where you place it and door closed to lower it, will it work?
I padded the board better and bought some plate hangers to secure the cover really tight. Plate hangers were my answer to an old style cover anchor which would tighten the cover really well.

Works for me.

I like the fact it saves space for me but I wish there was a thicker cover on board as I always have to put a folded sheet before I iron my clothes. over all it is a good product.

Space saver

Saves lot of space and time because you just fold it on the door and you don't have to carry it.
The bad side is that I had to adjust the cast iron metal piece that is used to hang it on the door because my door was too thick for it. So if you have a thick door you need to adjust that using some tools.

Great for small places. I use it in my studio apt.

I had this iron board for 7 yrs work great for the price just today it give up on it broke Am gonna go get another one for sure

Just a point that I drilled a few holes in the bracket and mounted this unit on the wall of our laundry room; the width of the bracket, centre to centre, is 16" which is the same as the separation between adjacent studs. The wall-mounted units that I found on web are usually a lot more expensive. I bought this board from a Walmart store for $18 something.
I would have preferred the board to have a smaller semi circle at the end of the board for ironing shoulder area of my shirts; that is only a minor disadvantage.

REALLY loud popping noise when the iron is unfolded. Not the sturdiest when in use. But the convenience and storage more than make up for those minuses.

I love the functionality of this ironing board but the cover is so thin that the metal grid from the board itself shows through onto whatever I've ironed. If the cover were thicker, like my last one, no issues.

Bumpers to keep from scratching door were "missing" from shipment and nothing to protect top of door from metal clips. Cheap looking but it works.
