Great product, when you finally get it completed The directions say it takes 2 people and 45 minutes to assemble. This took 3 people 3 hours to complete. The directions are hard to read, incomplete, and obviously not very well authored. When we did finally get it together, we loved it, we use it at least twice a week. Not so easy to assemble. I have been putting things together for a many years, friends and family are always asking me for an assist putting different things together. This took me four(4) hours. The assembly was just tedious and the heating rack directions could stand a revision. Until I went online to see a picture from your website hopefully that will be it. Looking forward to cooking on it, I shall write another review when I get my first real cooking experience. 05/17/2011
Two Chicks -- One Hour Texans don't take BBQing lightly, and this BBQ really exceeded my epectations. The box was quite heavy so make sure to either take someone to help you or ask an employee for assistance. I opened my box as soon as I got home and started taking things out to get ready to assemble it. I have never put anything together before as my husband usually does this type of thing. BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO WAIT FOR HIM TO DO IT!!! So I and my teenager daughter managed to put it together quite well in a little under an hour. We spent the next day doing the curing process as described in the manual, and then the pay off. We cooked about 20 sausages, about 10 leg quarters, and 5 steaks, and we still had plenty of room left over. I'm not sure if the picture I'm putting into here has all the meat on the grill or just some of what I said up there, but either way YOU CAN SEE THE AMOUNT OF MEAT THIS THING CAN HOLD!!! Lots of room with this one. A pretty good product here. Fairly easy to learn how to control the cooking temp. With a little care there's no reason this grill wouldn't last a good long time. I've replaced the plastic wheels with steel and rubber wheels and fabracated a handle to make moving this a bit easier. 09/22/2009
