It fits in a slot under the charger. I guess you could misplace it - but I alswasy carry a pocket knife for such emergencies

It is stored on the back of the charging unit. Not easily misplaced if you put it back before you drink the wine.

Is the foil cutter attached to the opener (or easily misplaced)?

No battery..it has a charging stand and there is nothing in the instruction booklet with regards to a battery.

It does have a rechargeable battery, but as far as I know can't be replaced. It has a year warranty.

it's rechargable, i never took it apart to see where the battery is. however if you did that u will break it- it does not come apart, keep it plug in so it can work and if it is off the charger for a while it's okay, it will still work

The rechargeable battery is in the opener. I have had one of these openers for over 5 years and the battery is going strong. I would think a new battery would cost as much as a new unit.

It is rechargeable.  I have no idea if the battery is replaceable. My last one lasted about five years and at the end of that time I just bought a new one.

Does Ele Wine Opener have a rechargable battery? If so is battery replaceable?

Just be aware each time opener is used. If cork goes up to far I use a knife or wire clothes hanger and polk it into the cork. Then push the release button while holding knife or hanger still. No problem.

push the up arrow button to release the cork. downward arrow over the bottle takes the cork, upward on the arrow spits it back out

Just keep pressing the button down and voila

I've not had a problem. If I press the "up" arrow - top of the control switch - and hold it, it sort of rewinds until the cork comes out

press the down button & the cork will come be dispensed out

Make sure the motor is completely off. If you stop the motor while it is running, the cork is not likely to come out.

Push the other end of the button and it reverses the cork screw.

YOu press one way to pull the cork out of the bottle and the opposite way to release it. Very simple.
