Only Needed Bottom Piece The Oster blender we purchased barely one year ago has a 600 W motor with Pre Programmable settings. We felt it was worth the $10 to purchase all the parts in the kit even though we needed only the bottom plastic piece. This piece actually cracked months ago but we kept trying to work with it and finally gave up when the crack widened. We use this blender almost daily now as we make fresh smoothies every morning. 08/15/2011
OSTER blade assembly I'm delighted to find these, delighted with them. My local appliance service shop only offered the entire blender container, but all I needed was the blade assembly (the base had cracked, and started leaking... I think the blade had also gotten dull). I didn't need the container.Additionally, my parents had given me a 3 1-cup Oster blender cup that I use to make aioli frequently... this way I have an extra blade (or two) so I don't have to switch blades. This is official Oster brand, I'm delighted. 01/29/2012
This is not durable. My old one broke within few months of purchase. 06/25/2011
good, but too much stuff The kit includes too much stuff. Everything in the kit is good, but I only need the blade.There is shelf space for this product in the store, but it is usually out of stock. After checking three locations I gave up and ordered online. 02/29/2012
