Hello, and thank you for asking! Our OGX Moroccan Surf Paste has a medium hold with a matte finish.

How is the hold of this product. I am looking for a matte finish and strong hold but the description doesn&#39;t mention anything about the hold.

The ingredients in this product include water, beeswax, sucrose, isopropyl myristate, PVP, cetearyl alcohol, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, petrolatum, ceteareth-20, sodium chloride sea salt, macrocystis pyrifera (kelp) extract, polyacrylamide, C13-14 isoparaffin, laureth-7, fragrance, diazolidinyl urea, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, and yellow 5CI 19140.

Surf paste

I absolutely love this paste. I have wavy, hard to control hair. This paste is great for styling without giving you the flacky, overly wet or overly dry look of gel or hair glue and other products. It gives hair a slight healthy sheen while allowing you to style even the most challenging hair. Love it!!

Awesome hold and sheen

I do not like the effect of gel in wet hair. Hairspray also has a hard feel to it after application. This Moroccan Surf paste is the best thing I have ever used. It works better on a dry head, but the after effect, feel and hold work better for me than any alternatives I have used thus far in life. I especially like that my hair looks natural after being applied.

Better than Gel or Hairspray

Love this product. Wish the stores would put it back on the shelves.

Awesome

This is great stuff.  I have short, fine hair.  Just a small amount gives me body & separation, but looks natural and a little messy--the style I"m looking for.  I used to be able to get this at a local store, but they didn't have it.  I found Walmart had it for lower price, and since I could pick up at the store, there was NO shipping cost! Arrived FAST---I will definitely do this again!

Great product

I have very short and thin hair. Using the paste gives it volume, texture and allows me to spike it without the stiff feeling like a gel does. You stopped carrying it at your stores so I was thrilled to be able to get it online. Great product !

Best I've Found

Excellent product that needs to be stocked in store versus having to ship to store.  Great control without feeling greasy or crunchy.

Why did they ever take this out of the store?

I love how this makes my hair have some body to it.  I put it on wet and when it drys you can mold you hair into many different styles.

Surf Paste

Before trying this product, I had always used spray curling gels or creams. I decided to try something that maybe had a little more hold. I have long curly, frizzy hair, which is not the typical aim of this product.
Once I'm out of the shower at night and my hair is still damp, I take a small dab and work it through my hair (don't put near roots). I then tip my head over and bring all my hair up on top of my head, as if I were about to tie a high pony tail. I then twist my hair, going all the way down to the ends. I then wrap it into a bun and tie it. This creates the ultimate beach look the next morning! Some of my friends even say it looks like a Victoria's Secret hairdo. I can also scrunch with it after a morning shower, just don't use too much. You just need a dab.
It smells fantastic and is a great price.
