Excellent game, reminiscing the apple IIe. Reminiscing the apple IIe version, but with better game play. Added features are the 3D and the fishing part. I totally recommend buying here at Walmart.com for only $19.99 + tax and shipping. 01/03/2012
Its fun to drive the wagon yourself First I was concerned about this game because the screen shots online looked so ugly. But I had to try it anyways and am glad I did. I must say I only played this game in 2D, since i cannot tolerate the 3D. The graphics of this game are not mind blowing but they suit the atmosphere of the Oregon Trail just fine, no complaints there. I love to whip my oxen to make them go faster. It's nice to drive your own wagon and it's not too easy to avoid all the obstacles, don't know if 2D makes it more challenging or if I just go too fast. Fishing and hunting are fun ,but when you want to go berry picking you just click the sign and the next thing you know is how much you picked without actually having done any picking yourself, very lame. Why couldn't they let you pick berries via the touch screen ? The loading screens seem to take about 30 seconds (without having timed it, but it seems that long) but luckily they are not too frequent so it's bearable. Also once this game froze on me. Overall I like this game. 01/02/2012
