Works great. I used for playing racquetball, and love the vibration alert. Set heartrate and a gentle vibration warns you when you have exceeded the rate. (To get this to work I found out you have to set your rate, but when excersising have to put it in chrono mode and heartrate mode.) Don't be fooled by some watches that say "strapless". May sound good, but they do not continuosly monitor your rate, and therfore cannot warn you when you have exceeded your limit. With those, you have to hold down 2 buttons for 5 seconds or so, not very convienent. Have had for a month now, and no problems.

I had to purchase a heart rate monitor with a chest strap as a wrist-worn monitor didn't work for me. This monitor has a very comfortable chest strap and stays where you put it and with just a tap on the wrist worn receiver, you get all the info you need for whatever exercise you're doing. More settings on the device than I expected and overall a very good price for the product. The only drawback is that I can't be moving too much when I read my heart rate or the readings aren't as accurate as they could be. Other than that, this is a good purchase.

I was reluctant to buy a watch online because I was afraid it would be sized and styled more for a man. Its not as dainty as I would like, but it looks fine for a woman or a man. The chest belt is so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing it. But if you have an extra large ribcage, make sure to check the maximum size because it just barely fit around my husband who does have a large chest. All the functions work as advertised. I'm horrible at electronics but was able to figure this out without asking hubby to set it up like I usually do. It's wireless, comfortable, doesn't get in the way of my movements, transmits to equipment. One of my favorite features is you can set the watch to a silent vibrate to alert you when you are out of your target heart rate. This allows me to keep my eyes where I want them and doesn't disturb other or me.

I just got it yesterday. I logged in all my inforamtion and upper and lower heart rates. I started working out and started the stopwatch but did not get anyhting on my heart rate or calories. How do I get this to work? Do I always have to use it on my chest? Or is it as accurate on my wrist as I was using it?

    • The chest strap is the heart rate sensor. If you don't have the chest strap on, it can't read your heart rate.

    • The chest strap is the actual monitor, it just sends the results for you to view on the watch.

    • In order to get a reading you have to wear the two units in tandem ~watch on your wrist and the chest band, well on your chest =) the little rectangle unit on the band needs to be positioned over/very near your heart and the part touching your skin needs to be slightly damp (rub some sweat or a little water on it). Once you have done this look at the lower part of the screen on the watch. You should see a heart with double parentheses around it. This means its now reading your heart rate. *I recommend drying the chest band after use to help conserve the battery.

    • You always have to wear the chest strap. The chest part is the transmitter. The watch has to be within a few feet to pick up the signal
