Rated 1 out of 5 by danthearchitect It was nice while it lasted The monitor has a nice feature that you tap it and it changes mode to show your heart rate. Would have been good if it worked. And then the whole unit started to work in a crazy way after week two. Totally useless. 10/21/2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by geegee41120 For Women or Men. Vibrate alert is great. I was reluctant to buy a watch online because I was afraid it would be sized and styled more for a man. Its not as dainty as I would like, but it looks fine for a woman or a man. The chest belt is so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing it. But if you have an extra large ribcage, make sure to check the maximum size because it just barely fit around my husband who does have a large chest. All the functions work as advertised. I'm horrible at electronics but was able to figure this out without asking hubby to set it up like I usually do. It's wireless, comfortable, doesn't get in the way of my movements, transmits to equipment. One of my favorite features is you can set the watch to a silent vibrate to alert you when you are out of your target heart rate. This allows me to keep my eyes where I want them and doesn't disturb other or me. 06/10/2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Jrating Alot of features, maybe too many This is a good product that has many features, but it does have a learning curve! It has four buttons like a sports watch. The top left button is how you navigate through your calorie count, avg heartrate, total calorie count, heartrate, and stopwatch. So you have to remember the order. The is a running and a walking setting for heartrate. The battery was low when I received it, but can be replaced. The vibration mode takes more battery and there is also a battery on the chest strap. Overall it is a very good heart rate monitor, but they should make a version (in the future) with less buttons and a small learning curve. 01/04/2009
Rated 1 out of 5 by MADCITYMEDIC Heart Breaker The wrist band and watch were comfortable. The set-up was easy. The "touch" feature never worked. The biggest problem I had was the signal was never consistent. I never really knew what my heart rate was at any given time. I moistened the chest strap, and changed the battery in the chest strap, even though it was only a week after I received the monitor. 03/18/2011
