actually better than my previous Braun Even though, as previous reviewers have said, this toothbrush does not actually have two speeds, it works well. My last Braun lasted less than 2 years. This one seems sturdier, and if I follow the directions and allow it to run out of juice every month or so, I'm hoping it will last longer. The indicator light is very bright and flashes, which might be a concern if you sleep in the same room where it charges. 03/28/2009
This is a ONE speed Even though It has "two speed" plastered all over, it is not a 2 speed, I even called Braun to ask them about this and they said this model has never been a two speed,It seems to do well against even the built up plaque I had behind my bottom front teeth, it wore away at it until it broke loose,so far I'm pretty happy with the product.I was a little disappointed with it being a single speed seeing how that was one of the turning points in buying this model, 03/03/2009
A lot for less Just bought this yesterday, a LOT better than a manual tooth brush, for the price you just can not go wrong. I thought BOY 70.00 for a tooth brush, but did it make a believer out of me. The only downside (if that is what you want to call it) is that it takes so long to get a full charge (16 hrs.), but all in all the tooth brush is fantastic! The other people who wrote those good reviews, READ THEM, there not kidding...... 08/30/2008
