Rated 5 out of 5★ by Best I have ever used I used to try to find a small toothbrush to not invoke the gag reflex.I didn't like using my toothbrush as a tongue brush,I know same mouth, but it just seemed kind of gross to me.I found the scrapers are just mediocre and they do just that , scrape over but do not get down deeper. This brush is very flat, has a great shape, the bristles are fantastic, not hard, not to soft especially when you get to the very back of your tongue.I hope they never discontinue these as I have never ever come across anything that works like this, and I still recall seeing it in a magazine and on tv.It took awhile to see them come out in the stores years ago,but I am so very pleased with this brush. If you have major gag reflexes this should really help you,as it is not intrusive as a toothbrush being the shape and how flat it is.I think this could work for a child or about a pre teen child mouth sized wide.I have a small mouth inside so I had thought if any parents are trying to teach this habit to a kid, this is a good way to go,my son had horrid gag reflexes when young and I wish they had these back 20 yrs ago. I don't have a major gag reflex issue, but I get back as far as I can and to the back side areas.I also found long ago if this helps anyone to hold your breath and find just the right amount of mouth opening you need to lessen the gag reflex,I wish I could explain this better, but for me it has always helped. If you are like I am about cleaning your tongue, this brush will be the best friend you have been looking for. Please do not stop making and carrying these, they are just wonderful.Oh,and just as a note, I rinse mine very well and you can also use mouthwash to sanitize, the Listerine type with the alcohol in it,or even diluted bleach and rinse well and it will be fine or another non invasive sanitizer would be distilled white vinegar which is also great for killing things.Hope this helps anyone who is interested in this brush. 01/02/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Good product if you know how to use it You have to be smart about how you use this. If you bought the Orabrush Foam to go with this this I recommend you use the scraper first to get the initial layer of tongue gunk (TG) off otherwise you're just wasting product. If you aren't in a habit of scraping / brushing your tongue it may take a few times to get the 'build-up' out. Trying to keep this from being gross, but let's face it, that stuff can accumulate and 'cake' somewhat. It'll take some work to break the foundation so to speak. But once the tongue is conditioned to being 'massaged' the scraper will work like it's supposed to.Before doing any scraping I tried the foam at first and couldn't feel it or taste it on my tongue. It took me several minutes of scraping, rinsing, repeating the TG without the foam and then applied the foam. I could taste it and feel it doing it's thing. I didn't apply hulk-like force to the scraper but was firm and used back and forth strokes to loosen, then started at the back and pulled forward and down to rake the TG to the tip of the tongue and spit, and rinsed. I could see the residue present but it was getting less each time.Being realistic here, it's not a magic bullet where you scrape twice and voila, it's all gone. It's gonna take a little patience and proper use to get results, but they do come. And it is different than using a toothbrush. Is it better? It think it does clean deeper than a brush does honestly. The tongue is like the courser part of velcro, not the felty part but the more bristly part. It is what traps the velcro, and so it is with the tongue. Food is the felty part or velcro, and the tongue is the trap that makes it stick. Unsticking velcro takes a little force. 03/30/2014
Rated 1 out of 5★ by too much bend and a small head. I tried to use this, only to discover that the head bends to much, It just didn't seem to scrap my tongue that much. I felt i had to repeat about 10 times and my tongue still didn't feel clean. I feel that i got better results with a toothbrush. 12/26/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by not happy Not happy with this product at all, it makes you gag. Prefer the tongue scraper but can't find it anymore at stores. 03/06/2014
