Does it come with the remote as pictured?

I was surprised to find that this fan has a metal base and metal wire grill around the blades.  The blades are plastic.

To any owner of this Optimus Ped Oscillating Fan.. is the GRILL that encompasses it composed of fine, durable metal or cheap plastic?

LOVE THIS FAN, GREAT. WORKS VERY GOOD

I bought this fan because of information and reviews stating the fan is quiet.  It is a well-built and fairly strong fan, but it is not quiet at any of the 3 speeds.

This is a great fan. It's easy to put together as long as you read the instructions first. There was not a remote with it as shown.

had a TON of issues just putting the fan cover on...had to rely on my brother!  it was time consuming and frustrating...will NEVER buy this brand again

This fan is absolute junk. It broke before I could assemble it ...  no difference between low medium and high!
