Customer Product Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5★ by 1reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Excellent value, a very strong camp knife This is a five star knife. The blade is 9 and a half inches and a 1/4 inch thick with full tang. It's definitely the strongest knife I've ever purchased. If you're looking for a big camping, survival, wood processing knife, there's no way you'll find anything better at $93 bucks. You should compare to the Kabar BK9, Cold Steel Trailmaster, and Tops Armageddon. All have their good points and bad points. The handle fits an average man's hand very well, much better than the RTAK II. The only sore point is the sheath but of course if you looked at big knives then you know, all their sheaths suck. You have to either have one made for you or make some changes to the one they give you. I have to say this knife pretty much blew me away, I was not expecting a knife built like a tank. It compares very favorably to the Trailmaster but at 30-40 bucks less. The Trailmaster has a clip point so it'd be better for self defense but the RD9 is full tang, not just a stick tang, so it's better for batoning and is an even stronger knife. 03/26/2014
