These rod are diehard/tuff rods and for the price are hard to beat.

This fishing pole is excellent, built well and will last a very long time with proper care and maintenance. For under $33.00 plus tax, you can't go wrong. There are a few things that you must do prior to joining the sections, trim the rubber ends on the bottom of top and mid sections even with the rod diameter for easy assembly and disassembly, practice casting this 15 footer and transport the rod in a drainage PVC tubing to prevent damages to the rod sections and line guides. Great rods for the price. I have been looking for some surf rods to catfish at the dams. They load up very well and cast amazing!

Took the pole to a local pond to practice, almost hit the other side with a 1 1/2 oz weight without even trying. Should be great on bigger lakes and rivers. Compare the price to a 13' carp rod online and you will see why I'm happy.

I bought for my husband, he says it's too heavy, too big

This rod is huge and is 15' long. I haven't used it yet, but have seen lots of good reviews about it on Amazon. Fast shipping. The rod sections need to be lubed a little bit so that disconnecting them is easy. Otherwise, they stick together and it's very hard to take them apart. Good rod.

Bought two. One was so tight that I had to break it to get it to fit in the car. Other one is fine. I might sand it just a bit to make it slightly easier to dismantle.
