I bought this costume yesterday, my 5 1/2 month old fits into it (the neck is tight) as far as length- she has some room and girth she has room too.. i would recommend the 6-12 month one. that's what i bought.

I would order the 6 to 12 month size. My little boy is 9 months, 25 pounds and tall for his age, and the 6 to 12 month size was too tight for him even wearing only a onesie underneath. I think it would've fit him at six months, though, if he were an average-size baby. Plus, the way this costume is, it's a good idea to have it a little bit loose.

My boy is 5 months and I got him the 12 to 18 months. It fits good not to loose but roomy but my baby is a large baby for his age (about 20 pouds and 27 inches). It is a little loose on the head only.

This is sooo cute it was a little bit big on my 5 month old and he is about 15lbs. It was really well made for the money it was very much worth the price.

When I was looking for a bear costume for my two-month old, this was the EXACT thing I invisioned. It says 0-6 months, but it fit my two month old to a T, so Im not sure how it would fit a 6 month old. Great and just what I hoped for.

Loved it!

I got the 6-12 month size for my smaller 12 month old. I got it a month early and tried it on him and the costume part fit great, however the head part was too small. We needed to get vecro to extend the fastener. Also, I think the "crotch" fasteners should be snaps instead of velcro as that part kept coming undone. I would really recommend the manufacturer to make a 6-9mo and 9-12 month sizing to their costumes. A lot happens between 6-12 months!

Super cute, but head is sized too Small

This costume is super cute and super soft and cuddly. It's warm enough that you don't need a lot of layers underneath. We didn't use the blanket because it looked kind of cheap. I ordered the 12-18 month size for our 22 lb 18-month old and it fit perfectly (she's pretty short).

My one complaint is that the feet are not open -- like they don't allow for the child to wear shoes on the outside of the costume. So my toddler was walking around on the street with the feet you see in the picture touching the ground. They got VERY dirty, and she had a little trouble walking in it. We were in a small enclosed area so I didn't worry about her stepping on something that might hurt her, but out on a real street there might be a safety issue.

Great for the price, especially if you're not going outside.

Feet get dirty

We ordered this little bear custume for our 1 yr old grandbaby because it reminded us of his first blue bear with a matching blue ribboni. This adorable custume has one drawback. It sheds. The brown fuzz from the material goes all over the place. I know the material is meant to resemble the bear's hair, but this is the only draw back and the reason for my rating. Proud grandma

This costume is adorable, made well, and walmarts price is the best. My son is 11 months old. I ordered the 12-18 months size and it was very tight, so when I went to exchange it for the larger size, Walmart did not carry the 18-24 months size. Sadly, I had to purchase the same costume elsewhere for twice as much money. The costume is great, but runs slightly small.

Cute costume, but runs a bit small

Very cute costume & super soft! My son is 9 months and the 6-12mo. size fits him perfectly. My only complaint is that the head piece seems to run a bit small. It fits ok, but it seems a little snug. Overall, very cute costume and comfortable for my baby to play in.

Adorable!

I modified the costume so that my son could go as an Ewok from Star Wars and it worked great. The price was better here than at other retailers.

We ordered this for our daughter, and this costume was tagged for 0-6 months old. She wears a 3-6 month size but this costume was anything but for a baby. It looked like it would fit a 2 year old!  We ended up not taking it and getting a refund, and bought Halloween sleepers that were just as cute and fit her much better.
