the shawl is nicely made not cheap or tackey. The print is pretty and there are pockets on the side that are convienent. The fit is larger than I thought, I ordered a large and I expected it to be pretty snug while I am 9 mo. pregnant. When I tried it on it actually felt a little big. It will work but it would be nice if walmart would list the measureament online prior to buying. So here is the sizing chart that came with the shawl: Small: size, 2-6, bra size 32-34. Medium: size,8-12, bra size 36-38. Large: size, 14-18, bra size 40-42. I would reccomend going by the bra size rather than clothing because right now pregnant I am an 18 but by bra size is a 38 and I would have fit better in the medium. Hope this helps!

I would not recommend this shawl if you are just starting out breastfeeding. You can't see the baby or use your hands to direct them. I would start using this when the baby is 2-3 months old & is in the routine of finding the nipple themselves. But it has great coverage & leaves you very comfortable since it wraps all the way around you. Also, I got the medium because I'm a D to a Double-D... BUT I weigh 110 lbs so it falls below my chest. I kept it & just safety pinned it, but I wish I would have gotten the small.

I had one of the nursing covers that only covers the front. I felt too exposed and afraid I would show too much. I searched far and wide to find a cover that covers all around. I found this cover and IT IS FABULOUS!! and for a very good price! I am not afraid to even nurse in public now. It covers very well. There is a little slit in the side, but it's low enough I have never had a problem. I ordered one size bigger than the size chart suggested. I would have been fine with the suggested size, but it's nice to have the extra room for extra coverage and for when my baby gets bigger.

    • A. Yes. You just twist the shawl around, depending on which side you want to nurse.

    • A. You can twist this to cover either shoulder nicely. You can even rest it like a tube top to have both arms free while you burp the baby or just put yourself back together.

    • A. so funny, i wear it over both. and....until i wrote this review and saw the picture, i didn't realize thats how you are supposed to wear it! makes it much easier to change sides if you don't put either arms through it. and i feel like it may cover more. i am very pleased with mine

I am expecting twins and am planning on nursing, but realize I will need to nurse in public. Will I be able to cover both breasts and babies with this shawl?

    • A. Yes. The elastic around the top makes everything adjustable. Even the way it is shown on the picture can work with two. Twins is very exciting. Congrats!

    • A. My wife is a small woman from the Philippines (130 pounds). So the shaw was adequate for her and one baby which is now around 14 pounds. The shaw adequately covers the breasts of my wife during feeding. I think it comes in several sizes. If you are a larger woman, then buy the larger size for sure to insure coverage. If it does not work out, the great thing about buying from Walmart is that they return items without much hazzle.

    • A. I don't think it will; only one end of the nursing cover is long enough to properly cover both you and your infant (and it doesn't really cover larger babies all that well). You'll have to rotate the cover to nurse on the opposite site.

    • A. Depending on your size, the large shawl should cover everything. I'm a size 18 and it covered me and my entire baby until he was 6 months. Then only his legs were exposed.

    • A. Are you planning on feeding them both at once? If so, to cover both I would just put the smallest part, which should be on the side, in the back. This shawl comes in sizes, though I didn't see the option of choosing when I ordered. Mine came in medium.

    • A. It does have an elastic band. You have to pull it back w/ your hand in order to view the baby. It doesn't stay opened so that you can view the baby.

    • A. It is an elastic band but you have to pull it out to see the baby where some covers have boning in them and they stand out from your chest some so you can see baby the whole time. I prefer this so if someone walks behind me they can't see down my chest.

    • A. The elastic band holds the cover against you so that no one can see down into it. If you want to view your baby, just use your free arm to pull the elastic out a bit.

    • A. You can see the baby by lifting up the top of the shawl and look down, you could even stick your own head into the shawl while you help your baby get properly latched onto your breast... that what I do. The top piece of the shawl has an elastic band going around it, sowed into the material

    • A. It does have an elastic band, which you'll have to pull open to peek in at the baby. This isn't the most convenient way to guide your infant, especially when they can't find the nipple on their own.

    • A. Yes and no. The elastic band stretches a lot. So you can always peek your head inside to view the baby, but it's elastic so unless you pull on the elastic, the top hugs your body.

    • A. It does have an elastic band that goes all the way around the top of the cover. The elastic keeps the cover closer to your body, so in order to see my baby, I have to reach up and pull the elastic back to peek at her.
