Rated 2 out of 5 by brent67 Great idea, poor implementation This was the only product I found for household use that actually freezes the liquid to make a slush. Bought one online and the gear on the top of the base cracked and broke on the first use. Returned it to the store (great experience there) and ordered another online. The same gear on top of the base cracked on the second use. Returned it again with no questions asked. Not willing to roll the dice a third time.When it works, it works well, but not long. 11/02/2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by Longhorn93 small volume use recommended I really was hoping I was going to like this for the money. It was messy and leaked out the dispenser. You need to keep it running to prevent too much liquid from freezing to the inside cylinder. This prevents the "fins" from rotating which mixes the frozen part with liquid creating the "slush." This doesn't seem doesn't seem like a big deal except for that is so incredibly loud it is annoying to keep running.It doesn't hold very much liquid as well.This is ideal machine for a one time round of a few drinks since it DID created a nice consistency. If you are looking for some volume and/or using for several hours - forget it. 08/31/2010
