Rated 4 out of 5 by supervision okay with alot of supervision Its a great pass time for the kids. Only problem I have is the time you have to wait before you can start making the cotton candy. Its also a little hard to take apart every time after use for washing. 06/12/2012

Rated 1 out of 5 by ADJ0101 Very disappointing I did not even get to make cotton candy, pluged in the machine and let it run for the 5 mins as soon as we put in the sugar it stopped spinning and burnt the sugar. It was horrible and my girls were so disappointed. 05/31/2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by NadrianATRS It doesn't work as great as it advertises, yet... If you want to know if it works, yes it does work. However, it's not as great as the advertisement makes it to be. It claims you can use regular hard candies to make whatever flavor you want. I tried using Jolly Ranchers. When I put the candy in, it came out like cotton candy but the texture was not good. When you ate it, it tasted like you put crushed up Jolly Rancher pieces in your mouth. It didn't have that fluffy texture it traditionally is supposed to have.I finally bought actually cotton candy sugar and it works great! Here's the good and bad:Good- you'll get cotton candy just like at the fair, it comes with washable plastic cones, the unit and heating disc (which is removeable) are not hard to clean with very hot waterBad- it can get a little messy as small thin pieces may fly out , it doesn't really make a whole lot of candy at one time, you can't just use any hard candies like it says, it takes at least 3 minutes to heat up the heating disc and another 3-5 mintues for the candy to appearIf you want large amounts of cotton candy, save up and get a bigger model. It only makes enough for one cone to take about 3 bites from it. For the price, I guess it's ok but make sure you buy actual cotton candy sugar. I got mine (cherry) from ebay. It was about $7 for a real large container. 04/13/2012
